2014-15 School Year. The professional salary plan shall be as in Appendix A; the 2013-14 professional salary plan (Appendix A-2, effective January 29, 2014 through June 30, 2014) shall be increased by zero percent (0%), and adjusted for the 2014-15 work year per Article 10.2. Step-eligible unit members will have a step increase in the 2014-15 school year. The 2013-14 professional salary plan shall be as in Appendix A. The 2013-14 salary schedule shall be increased by 0.8 percent (0.8%) effective on the 91st contract day of the teacher year. The COLA increase will be reflected on the member’s January 31, 2014 payroll check and will reflect the COLA increase prorated over the number of contract days from the effective date of the COLA to the end of the year. There will be no retroactive payment on account of the delay in the COLA effective date.

2014-15 School Year a. All unit members will receive a 2.0% increase based on their 2013-14 hourly wage. The starting wage for new Food Service Helpers will be no less than $8.41 per hour.
2014-15 School Year. For the 2014-15 school year, the Academy agrees to accept a minimum of 75 and up to all of the students who are qualified to attend grade 9, and any additional district students in grade 10, 11 or 12 who express a preference to attend said Academy, except for educationally disabled and exceptional students requiring special schools or special facilities not offered by the Academy, or students who desire special vocational training not offered at said Academy.

The School District and College will coordinate the State Student assessment requirements to ensure said assessments are administered without penalty. The School District, School and College will ensure that the School calendar accounts for the required per-semester contact hours for courses. When the instructional delivery is on the College site, it may be necessary for Students to attend classes on days when the School District is closed (e.g., different holiday closures). When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.

  • Specialist Schools Allowance Funding equivalent to that which a maintained school with the Academy's characteristics would receive in respect of their participation in the specialist schools programme. In the year of conversion, this may continue to be paid by the Local Authority;

When a release of a new COUNTER Code of Practice is issued, the Distributor shall ensure that the Publisher will use commercially reasonable efforts to comply with the implementation time frame specified by COUNTER to provide usage statistics in the new standard format. The Distributor will cause the Publisher to make the Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI) Protocol available to the Licensee.

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education.
