2013 tax year. (“blwyddyn dreth 2013”) means the twelve month period ending 5 April 2013;

  • Base Tax Year means the property tax levy year used

  • Tax Year means a period beginning with 6th April in one year and ending with 5th April in the next;

  • Straddle Tax Period means a Tax period that begins on or before the Closing Date and ends after the Closing Date.

  • Rollback tax rate means the rate that will produce last year’s maintenance and operation tax levy (adjusted) from this year’s values (adjusted) multiplied by 1.08 plus a rate that will produce this year’s debt service from this year’s values (unadjusted) divided by the anticipated tax collection rate.

  • Post-Distribution Tax Period means a Tax year beginning and ending after the Distribution Date.

  • Pre-Tax Income means income, as determined by GAAP, prior to deduction of the Bonus Pool (as hereinafter defined) and income taxes, and if applicable, after the deduction of any bonus pool of a future officer bonus plan adopted by the Company relating to an applicable Award Year and adjustments approved by the Board as described herein.

  • Income Tax Expense means for Borrower and its Subsidiaries, on a consolidated basis for any period, all state and federal income taxes (including without limitation Texas franchise taxes) paid or due to be paid during such period.

  • Pre-Tax Earnings means the Corporation's earnings before income taxes as reported in the Company's Consolidated Income Statement for each fiscal year of the Performance Period, excluding any non-cash charge incurred in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP) for any restricted stock or restricted stock unit awards granted during the Performance Period and all options, restricted stock and other equity compensation granted to Directors during the Performance Period.

  • Tax Payment Date means, with respect to any applicable Taxes, the date occurring 30 days prior to the date the same are due and payable.

  • Tax Payment means either the increase in a payment made by an Obligor to a Finance Party under Clause 12.2 (Tax gross-up) or a payment under Clause 12.3 (Tax indemnity).

  • taxation year means the calendar year to which an assessment roll applies for the purposes of taxation;

  • Unpaid estimated income tax means estimated income tax due but not paid by the date the tax is required to be paid under applicable law.

  • MUNICIPAL TAXABLE INCOME means the following:

  • Tax Payments has the meaning set forth in the definition of Permitted Payments to Parent.

  • Property tax increment means the amount obtained by:

  • Allocation Year Means (i) the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on December 31, 2006, (ii) any subsequent period commencing on January 1 and ending on the following December 31, or (iii) any portion of the period described in clause (ii) for which the Company is required to allocate Profits, Losses and other items of Company income, gain, loss or deduction pursuant to Article V.

  • Pre-Distribution Tax Period means any taxable period (or portion thereof) that ends on or before the Distribution Date.

  • Net Tax Benefit has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(b) of this Agreement.

  • Net Taxable Income has the meaning set forth in Section 4.01(b)(i).

  • Base taxable value means the agreed value specified in a resolution or interlocal agreement under Subsection 17C-1-102(8) from which tax increment will be collected.

  • Book-Tax Disparity means with respect to any item of Contributed Property or Adjusted Property, as of the date of any determination, the difference between the Carrying Value of such Contributed Property or Adjusted Property and the adjusted basis thereof for federal income tax purposes as of such date. A Partner’s share of the Partnership’s Book-Tax Disparities in all of its Contributed Property and Adjusted Property will be reflected by the difference between such Partner’s Capital Account balance as maintained pursuant to Section 5.5 and the hypothetical balance of such Partner’s Capital Account computed as if it had been maintained strictly in accordance with federal income tax accounting principles.

  • Tax Period means, with respect to any Tax, the period for which the Tax is reported as provided under the Code or other applicable Tax Law.

  • REO Tax As defined in Section 3.17(a).

  • Hypothetical Tax Liability means, with respect to any Taxable Year, the Hypothetical Federal Tax Liability for such Taxable Year, plus the Hypothetical Other Tax Liability for such Taxable Year.

  • Consolidated Income Tax Expense means, with respect to any Person for any period, the provision for federal, state, local and foreign income taxes of such Person and its Restricted Subsidiaries for such period as determined on a consolidated basis in accordance with GAAP.

  • Comparison Year is defined as each calendar year during the term of this Lease subsequent to the Base Year; provided, however, Lessee shall have no obligation to pay a share of the Operating Expense Increase applicable to the first twelve (12) months of the Lease Term (other than such as are mandated by a governmental authority, as to which government mandated expenses Lessee shall pay Lessee's Share, notwithstanding they occur during the first twelve (12) months). Lessee's Share of the Operating Expense Increase for the first and last Comparison Years of the Lease Term shall be prorated according to that portion of such Comparison Year as to which Lessee is responsible for a share of such increase.
