00 - WAGES. 16.01 The wage rate for Corrections Sergeants from the period January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 shall be $42.65 per hour. 16.02 Effective January 1, 2024, Corrections Sergeants shall receive a wage of $44.78 per hour. 16.03 Effective January 1, 2025, Corrections Sergeants shall receive a wage of $47.02 per hour. 16.04 All wage increases shall be retroactive to current members of the bargaining unit, and Corrections Sergeants shall receive a check for retroactive wage increases within thirty (30) days of execution of this Agreement.
00 - WAGES. In the event of a statutory holiday falling on the pay day, Employees who receive paycheques will receive pay on the last working day prior to the holiday.
00 - WAGES. As agreed to in the “Resolution to Conclude BCA/Boilermaker 2010 Multi Provincial Collective Bargaining for Locals 555, 128, 73 & 203”, dated March 24, 2010, attached hereto. See attachment “A”. (Not to be included in the Collective Agreement) The BCA agrees to communicate to member contractors a request that Pension and Health & Welfare Contributions are shown separately on the employee’s Pay Stub, where possible.
00 - WAGES. 11.01 Schedule 'A' hereto headed Salary Table and Schedule 'B' headed Job Classifications are hereby made a part of the Agreement. 11.02 It is agreed that all changes of salary rates will be effective for complete two (2) week pay periods. In the event that the calendar date agreed to or established for changes falls during the first seven (7) days of a pay period, the increase will be paid for that entire pay period. In the event that the said date falls during the last seven (7) days of a pay period, the increase will be effective for the subsequent pay period. 11.03 The Corporation shall pay on a bi-weekly basis every second Friday with the pay period ending the same day. All premiums owing will be paid with the bi-weekly cheques calculated up to 7:30 a.m. the Monday preceding Pay Day. (1982)

00 - WAGES. ‌ A-9.01 At the sole discretion of the Union, any resulting increase(s) to the wage package, in whole or in part over the term of this Collective Agreement, to a maximum of $1.25 per hour, may be added to the existing pension plan contribution rate prescribed in this Agreement for Journeypersons upon the Union providing written notice to the Association. (a) Apprentices shall be paid in accordance with the percentages of the wages paid to Employees who are certified journeypersons in the trade: (i) 50% in the first period of the apprenticeship program; (ii) 65% in the second period of the apprenticeship program; (iii) 80% in the third period of the apprenticeship program. (b) Upon update of the Insulator Trade Regulation [Alberta Regulation 19-96] by the Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Education [STAE] Board, apprentices shall be paid in accordance with the percentages of the wages paid to Employees who are certified journeypersons in the trade as amended from time to time. The union will notify the Association as to where to allocate the wages to benefits not less than 60 days prior to the effective date of the increase in order to publish the revised wage schedule in a timely manner. 00 - WAGES. The parties agree that the monetary package (wages, vacation and holiday pay, pension, health benefits, and the apprenticeship and training fund (not other funds)) will be equivalent to the SMWIA/SMACNA agreement. The parties agree that the implementation of this monetary package will be as follows: Journeyperson Wage Rate: $28.27 Journeyperson Wage Rate: $29.01 Health & Benefit Fund 2.39 Pension Fund 2.91 The parties further agree that the monetary package in this agreement (wages, vacation and holiday pay, pension, health benefits, and the apprenticeship and training fund (not other funds)) after January 1, 2006 will equal the implementation of this monetary package in the SMWIA Local 280/SMACNA of BC agreement through to its termination (April 30, 2009). The parties further agree that this monetary package as defined above will be as agreed to (when agreement is reached in the future negotiations) between SMWIA Local 280 and SMACNA of BC for the period May 1, 2009 until the termination of this collective agreement in April 30, 1010. The above will apply to all categories of employees as contained in the SMWIA Local No. 280/SMACNA- BC collective agreement. 10.01 The minimum rate of wages for all classifications covered by this Agreement are located in Appendix “B” attached hereto. 10.02 The Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker and Foremen rates include a ten cents ($0.10) per hour tool and clothing allowance. Only Apprentices rates are calculated at the appropriate percentage of the Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker rate inclusive of tool allowance.
