Workers’ Compensation. With respect to all operations performed, the Party shall carry workers’ compensation insurance in accordance with the laws of the State of Vermont.

In computing benefits due under this Article, the amount of money provided as a temporary total disability payment during the period of disability (prorated as appropriate) shall be deducted from the basic salary of the employee, and employer shall compensate the employee to the extent of said difference without charge to any form of paid leave time.

More Definitions of Workers’ Compensation

Workers’ Compensation means the statutory compensation (excluding medical and vocational rehabilitation awards) provided. Such statutory compensation shall be prorated on an appropriate basis and deducted from the basic salary of the employee for the period of time during which the employee is unable to work. The employer shall compensate the employee, under this Article, to the extent of the difference between such prorated compensation and the basic salary.
