Receive or "receipt of" means, when referring to the department or the U.S. EPA, to come into possession of a document, information, or correspondence, whether sent in hard copy or by authorized electronic transmission, as indicated in an official log, or by a notation made on the document, information, or correspondence, by the department or the U.S. EPA in the regular course of business.
Anything of value means any goods that have a certain utility to the recipient that is real and that
Rebate shall have the same meaning as ascribed thereto in Article 10.3.4 of this Agreement;
Payment intangible means a general intangible under which the account debtor's principal obligation is a monetary obligation.
Tax Collector means the county tax collector.
Treasurer-Tax Collector means the Treasurer and Tax Collector of the County of Los Angeles. (Ord. No. 2009-0026 § 1 (part), 2009.)
Salesman means an individual, other than a dealer, employed, appointed or authorized by a dealer to sell securities in this state. The partners or executive officers of a registered dealer shall not be deemed salesmen within the meaning of this definition.
Payment Intangibles “Proceeds”; “ Records”; “Securities Account”; “Securities Intermediary”; “Security Entitlement”; “Supporting Obligations”; and “Tangible Chattel Paper.”
Collector street means a street, existing or proposed, of considerable continuity which serves or is intended to serve as the principal traffic way between large and separated areas or districts and which is the main means of access to the major street system.
Solar collector means a device, structure or a part of a device or structure a substantial purpose of which is to transform solar energy into thermal, mechanical, chemical or electrical energy.
Bribe means an inducement or reward offered, promised or provided in order to gain any commercial, contractual, regulatory or personal advantage; “to Bribe” and “Bribery” are construed accordingly.
Law enforcement official has the same meaning as the term "law enforcement official" at 45 C.F.R. § 164.103.
Collect means to obtain information that the licensee organizes or can retrieve by the name of an individual or by identifying number, symbol or other identifying particular assigned to the individual, irrespective of the source of the underlying information.
Enforcement Official means the Director of Public Works or his or her designee.
General Intangible means any personal property, including things in action, other than accounts, chattel paper, commercial tort claims, deposit accounts, documents, goods, instruments, investment property, letter-of-credit rights, letters of credit, money, and oil, gas, or other minerals before extraction. The term includes payment intangibles and software.
Salesperson means any person holding an Iowa real estate salesperson license as defined in Iowa Code section 543B.5(19).
Prize means anything offered, or purportedly offered, and given, or pur- portedly given, to a person by chance. For purposes of this definition, chance exists if a person is guaranteed to re- ceive an item and, at the time of the offer or purported offer, the tele- marketer does not identify the specific item that the person will receive.
Payments has the meaning set forth in Section 8.11.
Government Official means (a) any official, officer, employee, or representative of, or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of, any Governmental Authority, (b) any salaried political party official, elected member of political office or candidate for political office, or (c) any company, business, enterprise or other entity owned or controlled by any person described in the foregoing clauses;
Australian Government rebate means the private health insurance rebate that helps reduce the cost of health insurance. The rebate you are entitled to depends on your income and age and is indexed annually by the Australian Government.
Payment means any payment or distribution in the nature of compensation (within the meaning of Section 280G(b)(2) of the Code) to or for the benefit of the Executive, whether paid or payable pursuant to this Agreement or otherwise.
Illegal use of drugs means the use of drugs, the possession or distribution of which is unlawful. Such term does not include the use of a drug taken under the supervision by a licensed health care professional.
Overtime means work performed by a full-time employee in excess or outside of their regularly scheduled hours of work.
Enforcement Officer means a person authorised to carry out enforcement duties under Chapter 3 of the 2009 Act;
Defer means to postpone enrollment or interrupt enrollment in PEBB insurance coverage by a retiree or an eligible survivor.
