Tenant definition

Tenant means a person entitled under a rental agreement to occupy a dwelling unit to the exclusion of others.
Tenant means any Person leasing, subleasing or otherwise occupying any portion of the Property under a Lease or other occupancy agreement with Borrower.
Tenant as used in this Lease shall mean and include each of them, jointly and severally. The act of, notice from, notice to, refund to, or signature of any one or more of them with respect to the tenancy under this Lease, including, without limitation, any renewal, extension, expiration, termination or modification of this Lease, shall be binding upon each and all of the persons executing this Lease as Tenant with the same force and effect as if each and all of them had so acted, so given or received such notice or refund, or so signed.

Tenant means an occupant pursuant to a lease of commercial space or a dwelling unit, other than an owner.

In the event of a conflict between the express provisions of this Sublease and the provisions of the Master Lease incorporated herein, as between Sublandlord and Subtenant, the provisions of this Sublease shall control. Subtenant shall comply with and perform, for the benefit of Master Landlord and Sublandlord, all of such terms, covenants, conditions and obligations of the “Tenant” under the Master Lease, as incorporated herein, allocable or applicable to the Initial Premises or the Premises, as the case may be. Except as otherwise expressly provided hereunder, or as the context of this Sublease directly indicates otherwise, all of the obligations and rights imposed on or granted to the “Tenant” under the Master Lease, as incorporated herein, with respect to the portion of the Premises as to which this Sublease was commenced are hereby imposed on or granted to Subtenant and all of the obligations and rights imposed on or granted to the “Landlord” under the Master Lease, as incorporated herein, with respect to the portion of the Premises as to which this Sublease has commenced are hereby imposed on or granted hereunder to Sublandlord.
