Incumbents of the Resident Physician classes are not eligible for paid personal leave but service in such classes will count towards the three (3) years credit to qualify for this benefit.

Where the disability period is in excess of twenty- four (24) months the employee must be confined to a hospital or mental institution or, where he/she is at home, under the direct care and supervision of a Physician in order to continue to be eligible for benefits.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Physician may unilaterally amend this Agreement to the extent required by federal, state, or local law or regulation (“Applicable Law”) by sending You 30 days advance written notice of any such change.
