PCI DSS definition

PCI DSS means the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards, a set of policies and procedures, issued by the PCI Security Standards Council LLC (as may be adopted by local regulators) and intended to optimise the security of credit and debit card transactions and protect cardholders against misuse of their personal information.
