Former Participant definition

Former Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but who has ceased to be a Participant for any reason.
Former Participant means a Participant whose employment has Terminated or a Participant who is no longer an Eligible Employee, but whose Account has a balance greater than zero.
Former Participant means any previous Participant whose participation has terminated but who has a vested interest in the Plan which has not been distributed in full.

Examples of Former Participant in a sentence

  • If you are a Former Participant, and you do not return the Former Participant Claim Form that is postmarked by XXXXXXX, or submitted electronically by XXXXXX, you will forfeit your share of the Net Settlement Amount.

  • If you are a Former Participant and do not complete, sign, and mail a Former Participant Rollover Form, a check in the amount of your share of the Settlement Fund will be issued to you after the Settlement has received final approval and/or after any appeals have been resolved in favor of the Settlement.

  • For each check issued, the Settlement Administrator shall: (1) calculate and withhold any applicable taxes associated with the payments allocable to the Non-Rollover Electing Former Participant; (2) report such payments and remit such tax withholdings to the Internal Revenue Service and applicable state revenue agents; and (3) issue appropriate tax forms to the Non-Rollover Electing Former Participants.

  • Class Counsel also shall have given notice by publication of the Settlement Agreement and Class Notice and Former Participant Rollover Form on the Settlement website.

  • If you are a Former Participant who timely submits a valid Former Participant Rollover Form, the Settlement Administrator will effect a rollover of your share of the Net Settlement Fund to your qualified retirement account that you indicated in that Form after the Settlement has received final approval and/or after any appeals have been resolved in favor of the Settlement.


More Definitions of Former Participant

Former Participant means a person who had been an active Participant in Part I or Part II of the Plan (as applicable), but who has ceased to accrue further Credited Service for any reason.
Former Participant means a person on whose behalf an Account is maintained, who was an Eligible Employee but who is not entitled to accrue a benefit under this Plan because he or she has ceased to be eligible to participate in the Plan for any reason.
Former Participant means a member of the Settlement Class who does not have an Active Account as of the date the Preliminary Approval Order is entered by the Court.
Former Participant means a person who has been an active Participant, but who has ceased to actively participate in the Plan for any reason.
