Businesses means, at any time, a collective reference to the businesses operated by the Borrower and its Subsidiaries at such time.
Business Activities shall be deemed to include any activities which are included in the Company's Business now or during the effective period of this Agreement.
Business activity means that term as defined in section 3(2) of the former single business tax act, 1975 PA 228, or in section 105 of the Michigan business tax act, 2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1105.
Competitive Business Activity means:
Activity means the rate of disintegration or transformation or decay of radioactive material. The units of activity are the becquerel (Bq) and the curie (Ci).
Controlled unaffiliated business means a company:
Activities has the meaning specified in Section 7.02(b).
Competitive Activities means any business activities in which the Company or any other member of the Company Group engage (or have committed plans to engage) during the Term of Employment, or, following termination of Employee’s employment hereunder, was engaged in business (or had committed plans to engage) at the time of such termination of employment.
Prohibited Business shall be defined as any business and any branch, office or operation thereof, which is a primary competitor of the Company with respect to the Business wherever the Company does business, in North America or abroad.
Engaging in business means commencing, conducting, or continuing in business, and liquidating a business when the liquidator thereof holds itself out to the public as conducting such business. Making a casual sale is not engaging in business.
Substantial business relationship means the extent of a business relationship necessary under applicable state law to make a guarantee contract issued incident to that relationship valid and enforceable. A guarantee contract is issued "incident to that relationship" if it arises from and depends on existing economic transactions between the guarantor and the owner or operator.

Engage means to make any arrangement, and "engagement" means arrangement, whereby an individual is employed or retained for compensation to act for or on behalf of an employer to influence executive agency decisions or to conduct any executive agency lobbying activity;
Wellness activity means an explicit program of an activity
Related Business means any business that is related, ancillary or complementary to the businesses of the Company and the Restricted Subsidiaries on the Issue Date.
Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.
Interfering Activities means (A) recruiting, encouraging, soliciting, or inducing, or in any manner attempting to recruit, encourage, solicit, or induce, any Person employed by, or providing consulting services to, any member of the Company Group to terminate such Person’s employment or services (or in the case of a consultant, materially reducing such services) with the Company Group, (B) hiring, or engaging any individual who was employed by or providing services to the Company Group within the six (6) month period prior to the date of such hiring or engagement, or (C) encouraging, soliciting, or inducing, or in any manner attempting to encourage, solicit, or induce, any Business Relation to cease doing business with or reduce the amount of business conducted with the Company Group, or in any way interfering with the relationship between any such Business Relation and the Company Group.
Affiliated business entity relationship means a relationship, other than a parent- subsidiary relationship, that exists when
Permitted Businesses means the business of owning, leasing and managing gasoline stations, convenience store properties and other retail real properties (including, for the avoidance of doubt, quick service or other casual restaurants and auto service and auto parts stores), and any other single-tenant net lease business, and business activities reasonably related to the foregoing (including the creation or acquisition of any interest in any Subsidiary (or entity that following such creation or acquisition would be a Subsidiary) for the purpose of conducting the foregoing activities), in each case that are permitted for real estate investment trusts under the Code.
Established business relationship means a relationship between a seller and a consumer based on:
Associated Business means a business that owns at least 50% of and controls, directly or indirectly, an authorized business.
Permitted Business means any business in which the Company or its Restricted Subsidiaries are engaged on the date of this Indenture and any other business related, incidental, complementary or ancillary thereto, and any unrelated business to the extent that it is not material in size as compared with the Company and its Restricted Subsidiaries’ business as a whole.
Other Business(es means any business activity we or our Affiliates engage in, other than the licensing of the Hotel.
Business Relation means any current or prospective client, customer, licensee, supplier, or other business relation of the Company Group, or any such relation that was a client, customer, licensee or other business relation within the prior six (6) month period, in each case, with whom Executive transacted business or whose identity became known to Executive in connection with Executive’s employment hereunder.
Disadvantaged Business means a small business concern: (a) which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s) or in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s); and (b) whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more of the socially and economically disadvantaged individual(s) who own it. It is important to note that the business owners themselves must control the operations of the business. Absentee ownership or title ownership by an individual who does not take an active role in controlling the business is not consistent with eligibility as a DBE under CFR 49 Part 26.71.
