The Corporation agrees that Stewards, Committee Members and Elected Officers shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with in any way in the performance of their duties while investigating disputes and presenting adjustments as provided for in this Collective Agreement.
It is understood that Stewards, Committee Members and Elected Officers have their regular work to perform on behalf of the Corporation and that they will not leave their work without obtaining permission from their immediate non-union supervisor, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, and shall explain the reason for their absence.
