Domestic Partner means an opposite or a same-sex partner who is at least 18 years of age and has met all of the following requirements for at least 6 months:
Domestic Partner means any person who is registered as a domestic partner with the Secretary of State, State of California registry or the registry of the state in which the employee is a resident.

More Definitions of Domestic Partner
Domestic Partner means any person who is registered with his/her employer as (having) a domestic partner, or, in the absence of such employer-provided registry, is registered as a domestic partner with a governmental body pursuant to state or local law authorizing such registration. Any internal employer registry of domestic partnership must comply with criteria for domestic partnerships specified by rule by the Department.
Domestic Partner means a domestic partner as defined in section 3 of P.L.2003, c.246 (C.26:8A-3).

A Domestic Partner certification must be completed and filed with the Sponsor before the partner can be designated as an Eligible Survivor.
Domestic Partner means a person with whom another person maintains a household and an intimate relationship, other than a person to whom he or she is legally married. See Rules 2.11, 2.13, 3.13, and 3.14.
Domestic Partner means an individual joined in a domestic partnership.
