Each bargaining unit member shall, as a condition of employment, after completion of their probationary period or on the effective date of this Agreement, whichever is later, (1) join the Association, or (2) pay a Service Fee to the Association, pursuant to the Association's "Policy Regarding Objections to Political- Ideological Expenditures" and the Administrative Procedures adopted pursuant to the policy.
Subject to Administrative Procedures established by the Chief Administrative Officer and the Fair Labor Standards Act, employees may request reasonable alterations of their normally scheduled work day or work week.
