PREPARATION AND CONFERENCE TIME. A. The terms “preparation and conference time” shall mean work time during the school day, exclusive of the professional staff member’s daily duty-free lunch period. This time shall be used by the professional staff member for teacher and classroom duties.

PREPARATION AND CONFERENCE TIME. The Administration will schedule sufficient preparation and conference time so as to meet the State Minimum Standards. In addition, the principals and the Superintendent shall be responsible to balance teaching loads, classroom preparations and assignments. If any teacher feels they have been treated unjustly after meeting with the building Principal and then the Superintendent, they may appeal the Administrative decision to the Board of Education. A concentrated effort will be made to be fair and consistent to all staff members.

For purposes of block scheduling at the high school, “regular class period” shall mean one block of ninety (90) minutes. Elementary members (K-6) shall have a daily preparation period during the student day of not less than thirty (30) continuous minutes in length. Recess time shall be excluded from preparation period calculations. Special area members, such as but not limited to art, music, and physical education, shall have preparation time scheduled in the same manner as and equal to regular members at their level. Travel time between buildings shall not be considered as preparation time. Teachers who travel between Xxxx High School and another school within the district shall have their planning time calculated by
PREPARATION AND CONFERENCE TIME. The Wapakoneta City Board of Education will strive to equalize the duties of all staff members to permit as much conference time as possible. This time shall be in addition to art, music, physical education, or any additional special(s) periods provided in the elementary schools.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

Buyer will reimburse Seller for costs reasonably incurred by Seller to comply with the requirements of the preceding sentence to the extent that Seller is required to incur costs not in the ordinary course of business for third parties to provide such representation letters. The provisions of this Section shall survive Closing or termination of this Contract.

  • Preparatory Contract Negotiations Meetings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer will grant leave without pay to an employee to attend preparatory contract negotiations meetings.
