Fill-In Work. Work available that may be performed by current bargaining unit members as time 13 allows, (i.e., a driver without an assigned mid-day could perform the midday of another driver who 14 may be absent). Fill-in work shall be assigned based on seniority and availability. Laid off 16 District will include these regular employees who wish to do fill-in work on the classified 17 substitute list. They will be placed in order of seniority at the top of the substitute list and called 18 before any substitute is called.

Fill-In Work. In the event an employee is absent, the remaining employees may be temporarily assigned to do part of the work assignments of the absent employees. The Employee will be notified first in writing included Spanish (if needed) as to what portions of their regular work assigned shall not be done in order to do the extra work of an absent employee. Employees in the Union will also be notified of workload changes due to specification changes or changes due to work methods before they occur. Copies of these instructions will be provided to the xxxxxxx upon request.
Fill-In Work. An employee called to fill-in work and who reports to work when the employee is otherwise not scheduled shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours compensation for work at the appropriate rate, as set forth herein. This provision shall be applicable to the extent that such fill-in time does not abut, or overlap, the employee's regular work schedule.
Fill-In Work. Permanent part-time and on-call employees may be assigned work to fill-in while permanent full-time employees are absent due to vacation, illness, or other cause which may preclude the assignment of a specific work schedule and therefore shall not be considered to have a regularly scheduled work shift.

  • Site Work An expansion of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Boonville Station is required to accommodate the CTOIFs. The southern corner of the fence line will be expanded out by approximately 3,200 square feet. The Connecting Transmission Owner already owns the property required for the expansion. Approximately 120 feet of the existing fencing will need to be removed and approximately 150 feet of new fencing added.

  • THE WORK The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor necessary to produce such construction, and all materials and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction.

  • Contract Work The provision of goods and services identified in the Contract constitute the contract work (Contract Work). Contractor shall perform the Contract Work pursuant to the terms of the Contract. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, appliances, and appurtenances for the Contract Work in strict conformity with this Contract, within the time-period prescribed by the City.

  • Struck Work 4.01 While this agreement is in force, no strike or lockout will take place.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Dirty Work Where an employee and their supervisor agree that work (other than ship repair work) is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 43 cents per hour extra. Where an employee and their supervisor agree that certain ship repair work is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature, the employee shall be entitled to 58 cents per hour extra.

  • Contractor’s Submittals The Contract shall submit with reasonable promptness consistent with the Work Project Schedule and in orderly sequence all Shop Drawings, Samples, or other information required by the Contract Documents, or subsequently required by Change Order. Prior to submitting, the Contractor shall review each submittal for compliance with the Contract Documents and certify its approval by an approval stamp affixed to each copy. Submittal data presented without the Contractor’s certification will be returned without review or comment, and any delay resulting from such certification is the Contractor's responsibility.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE. Project locations are shown on Exhibit A unless otherwise described. PURCHASER shall furnish all material unless otherwise specified.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Unsafe Work (a) An employee may exercise their right to refuse to do unsafe work pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations outlined in Information Appendix B.
