College Credit Plus. A. The opportunity to teach any course offered by the district through College Credit Plus (CCP) shall be offered to all members of the bargaining unit who are qualified to teach the course.

College Credit Plus. Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 3365 et seq., the District shall participate in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program and shall offer college level courses/classes/programs (courses) to students in grades 7 through 12 in accordance with the following provisions:
College Credit Plus. Any classes offered by the District to students through the College Credit Plus program shall first be offered to bargaining unit members in accordance with this Agreement. If no bargaining unit member is qualified, pursuant to the requirements of the program, the Board may arrange for such class(es) to be taught by non-bargaining unit members. In such instances, however, the Board must first seek volunteers who are interested in becoming dual-certified and shall pay the costs associated therewith. All employees teaching any College Credit Plus class shall be SSLTA bargaining unit members.

College Credit Plus. 1. In order to address the implementation of student options for state-mandated postsecondary education, a co-facilitated College Credit Plus (CCP) committee shall be created. The committee will meet regularly (at least quarterly) to develop a comprehensive plan for the implementation of College Credit Plus. The committee shall be comprised of an equal number of bargaining unit members and Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District administrative employees. The bargaining unit members shall be appointed by the BEA President, and the administrative employees shall be appointed by the Superintendent. The total combined number of the committee members shall not exceed eight (8) unless additional staff is invited by mutual consent.
College Credit Plus. A. Teaching a course that qualifies for College Credit Plus (CPP) shall be voluntary on the part of the teacher. If the district has paid for Master or credentialing classes, by mutual agreement between the district and the teacher, for the purpose of the teacher to teach CCP classes, the teacher while employed by the district, may be required to teach CCP classes for a minimum of five (5) years or repay the actual cost of the Master or credentialing classes equal to the amount paid by the district or grant. During the same five-year period, teachers who leave the district to be employed by a contiguous district, may be required to repay the same.

College Credit Plus. A. In order to be qualified to teach a College Credit Plus (CCP) course, the unit member must be approved by the college/university to teach the course. The unit member shall be given professional leave time to attend mandatory meetings/training with the college partnering with the District to provide CCP courses provided the training occurs during the contractual work year/work day. If the unit member is required to attend mandatory meetings/training with the college outside of the contractual work year/work day, the unit member shall be compensated as follows:
College Credit Plus a. A teacher who teaches a College Credit Plus class will be paid $40 per student credit hour associated with the class.
