APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. The parties agree to set a minimum State Apprenticeship Council (SAC) Apprenticeship Utilization Goal of fifteen percent (15%) per craft. The goal established for minority apprentice training is fifteen percent (15%) of the total apprentice training hours. The goal established for female apprentice training is ten percent (10%) of the total apprentice training hours. The Prime Contractor will be responsible for all contractors and sub-contractors of whatever tier shall submitting an Apprenticeship Utilization Plan at their pre-job conference and all Contractors shall submit weekly certified payrolls identifying all SAC registered apprentices. The parties agree to maximize the use of Washington State Apprenticeship Training Council [WSATC] apprentices on the project and to facilitate the participation of people of color, women and other disadvantaged persons in such apprenticeship programs, and increase the opportunities for participation by low-income people of color and women. The parties should identify training and hiring goals, and reduce barriers to employment and training.

APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. Section 1. The parties and assenting Contractors agree to utilize apprentices from Washington State Apprenticeship Training Council (WSATC) programs for total hours established within the City contract for the Covered Project for no less than 15% and no more than 20% of total project hours on each project with the exact requirement set by the Director. The Prime Contractor shall provide a copy of their apprenticeship utilization plan upon request by the JAC. The Prime Contractor’s apprenticeship utilization plan will be reviewed by the JAC and appropriate efforts shall be taken to increaseutilization.
APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. The Parties agree to set an aspirational State Apprenticeship Council (SAC) Apprenticeship Utilization Goal of fifteen percent (15%) per craft. The aspirational goal established for minority apprentice training is twenty-one percent (21%) of the total apprentice training hours. The aspirational goal established for female apprentice training is twelve percent (12%) of the total apprentice training hours. The Prime Contractor will be responsible for all Contractors and Sub- contractors of whatever tier shall submit an Apprenticeship Utilization Plan at their pre-job conference and all Contractors shall submit weekly certified payrolls identifying all SAC registered apprentices. The Parties agree to encourage appropriate use of apprentices, including Washington State Apprenticeship Training Council [WSATC] apprentices on the Project and to facilitate the participation of people of color, women and other disadvantaged persons in such apprenticeship programs, and increase the opportunities for participation by low-income people of color and women. The Parties should identify aspirational training and hiring goals and reduce barriers to employment and training. To the extent any costs associated with the use of apprentices on the Project are not appropriate for reimbursement by the FAA under the AIP, the Port will use certified payrolls to determine the difference in wages and deduct the amount from the invoice submitted for AIP reimbursement.
APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. By mutual agreement, the County and the Union agrees to 15 enter into Apprenticeship Participation Agreements to establish and maintain ongoing apprentice 16 hiring within the Joint Crafts having established Apprenticeship Programs. Such apprentice hiring 17 will conform to the individual Apprenticeship Standards.
APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. The Contractor acknowledges that apprenticeship utilization goals should be met, and that the Owner has determined monetary incentives for meeting the goals, and monetary penalties for not meeting the goals. The Contractor further agrees that, from the compensation otherwise to be paid, the Owner may retain the sum of $ as a monetary penalty for not meeting the apprenticeship utilization goals. The Contractor further agrees, that in addition to the compensation otherwise to be paid, the Owner will pay by issuance of a Change Order $ as an incentive for meeting the apprenticeship utilization goals.
APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. The Owner and Contractors agree to make a good faith effort to achieve fifteen percent (15%) apprenticeship per craft on this project. The parties agree to maximize the use of apprentices on the project and to facilitate the participation of people of color, women and other disadvantaged persons.
APPRENTICESHIP UTILIZATION. Employer’s signatory to this Agreement shall utilize at least one (1) apprentice worker per every six (6) Journey-level workers dispatched to the company. This clause is contingent on availability of suitable apprentice workers.

  • Apprenticeship 7.01 At such time, the parties agree to a training program, it is agreed to contact the California Nevada JATC to establish such program.

  • Apprenticeship Program 62. The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the City, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union. Each apprenticeship program, however, shall contain at least the following terms:

  • APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with this Article and with Labor Code Section 1777.5 for all apprenticeable occupations.

  • Apprenticeship Supervision All apprentices shall be supervised by an appropriately qualified tradesperson. The parties shall implement the ESV’s “Supervision guidelines for apprentices working on electrical installations”. These guidelines were developed by the Industry parties under the auspices of the Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector.

  • Adult Apprentices People who are 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into an apprenticeship with the Employer will be paid as per the wage rates set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement. Where special or unusual circumstances occur or apply and where the parties to this Agreement and the adult apprentice agree in writing, the adult apprentice may be paid at a lesser rate, provided that the lesser rate will not be less than the rate for a junior apprentice set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement.

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.

  • Apprenticeship Requirements The Contractor shall comply with Section 230.1(A), California Code of Regulations as required by the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards by submitting DAS Form to the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of the craft or trade in the area of the site.

  • Apprentice Wages (a) Apprentices’ rates of pay are set out in Appendix B which includes the description of the calculations.
