Casual Part-Time A nurse whose written letter of offer does not contain any guarantee of hours of work and who may be called to work as and where required. Casual part-time nurses may work for a fixed term or task not to exceed six (6) months. Casual nurses must make themselves available for a minimum of one (1) shift every three (3) months. Casual part-time nurses do not have access to the bumping and layoff provisions as per Article 6.04. Should a nurse accept a casual part-time position after retiring from the Region that nurse will not be required to fulfill a probationary period.
Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.
Policy Dialogue 5. The Borrower shall keep ADB informed of, and the Borrower and ADB shall from time to time exchange views on issues related to structural adjustment, macroeconomic management, socially inclusive development, and governance and public administration reforms and ensuing policy and institutional reforms, and additional reforms that may be considered necessary or desirable, including the progress made in carrying out the policies and actions set out in the Policy Letter and the Policy Matrix.
Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the classifications listed in Section 7 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) for replacement of safety footwear.
Safety Boots Each employee, after 3 months’ continuous service, will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of one pair of safety boots (approved by the employer), in each year, to a maximum of $110.00. Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the following February.
