VPK program definition

VPK program means the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education program created under Section 1002.53, F.S., and which is organized, designed, and delivered in accordance with Section 1(b) and (c), Article IX of the State Constitution.
VPK program. The ELC shall: • Expend a maximum of 4 percent of the funds paid by the ELC to private prekindergarten providers and public schools for administrative costs (s. 1002.71(7), F.S.). • Use such funds only for administering this Program and not for other early learning programs (s. 1002.71(7), F.S.).

Examples of VPK program in a sentence

  • A coalition shall determine the eligibility of a private provider or public school registering for the VPK program in accordance with Sections 1002.55, 1002.61, and 1002.63, F.S., based on the submitted documents.

  • Notice of termination must be given, and alternative arrangements for uninterrupted services shall be made for children enrolled with the PROVIDER in the VPK program, at least 30 calendar days before the termination date.

  • An instructional day on which a child attends the VPK program, either in whole or in part, is payable.

  • A coalition shall allow a private provider eligible for the pilot project, to register a child for the VPK program on behalf of the coalition.

  • The PROVIDER understands that, in accordance with section 1002.71(5)(b), Florida Statutes, the PROVIDER shall receive a prepayment each month based on the PROVIDER’s child enrollment in the VPK program.

  • This paragraph does not authorize the COALITION to enforce licensing requirements under sections 402.301-402.319, Florida Statutes, or impose any requirement beyond this Agreement and the requirements of the VPK program as set forth in the Florida Statutes, state rules, and procedures.

  • The PROVIDER shall permit the COALITION, the COALITION’s contractor, or the Agency for Workforce Innovation, at any reasonable time, to enter the PROVIDER’s VPK program site to verify the PROVIDER’s compliance with this Agreement and with the requirements of the VPK program as set forth in the Florida Statutes, state rules, and procedures of the COALITION and the Agency for Workforce Innovation.

  • This Agreement applies to the 2010-2011 VPK program year, including the 2010-2011 school year and summer 2011 programs.

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.

  • Program Plan means the tobacco settlement program plan dated February 14, 2001, including exhibits to the program plan, submitted by the authority to the legislative council and the executive council, to provide the state with a secure and stable source of funding for the purposes designated by section 12E.3A and other provisions of this chapter.

  • Pilot program means the pilot program identified and funded through the Funding Agreement and described in that Funding Agreement and its attachments.

  • Individualized education program or “IEP” means a written statement for a child with a disability as defined in 14 DE Admin. Code 922.

  • Individualized Education Program (IEP means a written statement for a student with a disability that is developed, reviewed, and revised in accordance with the Utah Special Education Rules and Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

  • Development Program means the implementation of the development plan.

  • Approved program or "approved state" means a state or interstate program that has been approved or authorized by EPA under 40 CFR Part 123 (2000).

  • PACE program means a program implemented by a municipality to stimulate energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in conformity with Act 270.

  • Acid Rain Program means the sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides air pollution control program established pursuant to Title IV of the Act under 40 CFR Parts 72-78.

  • Program means the statutorily authorized activities of the System Agency under which this Contract has been awarded.

  • Alternative education program means a school or separate class group designed to best serve students’ educational needs and interests and assist students in achieving the academic standards of the district and the state.

  • Management Plan means a plan to manage the activities and protect the special value or values in an Antarctic Specially Protected Area or an Antarctic Specially Managed Area.

  • Number of Students Who Began the Program means the number of students who began a program who were scheduled to complete the program within 100% of the published program length within the reporting calendar year and excludes all students who cancelled during the cancellation period.

  • Development Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.
