Market Operations Center means the equipment, facilities and personnel used by or on behalf of a Market Participant to communicate and coordinate with the Office of the Interconnection in connection with transactions in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or the operation of the PJM Region.
Normal operation means all periods of operation except start-up and shutdown operations and maintenance of equipment;
Generation Operations Center means the location of Buyer’s real-time operations personnel.
Designated operational area means a geographic area designated by the combatant commander or subordinate joint force commander for the conduct or support of specified military operations.
Salvage operation means any business, trade or industry engaged in whole or in part in salvaging or reclaiming any product or material, including but not limited to metals, chemicals, shipping containers or drums.
Discontinued Operations means operations that are accounted for as discontinued operations pursuant to Applicable GAAP of the Issuer for which the Disposal of such assets has not yet occurred.
Licensed Operator : means any person who holds a licence granted and in force under the Law;
Farming operation means raising, cultivating, propagating, fattening, grazing, or any other farming, livestock, or aquacultural operation.
Maintenance and Operations Revenue or “M&O Revenue” means (i) those revenues which the District receives from the levy of its annual ad valorem maintenance and operations tax pursuant to Section 45.002 of the TEXAS EDUCATION CODE, or other lawful authority, and Article VII § 3 of the TEXAS CONSTITUTION, plus (ii) all State revenues to which the District is or may be entitled under the applicable provisions of the TEXAS EDUCATION CODE or any other statutory provision as well as any amendment or successor statute to these provisions, as applicable, less
Surgical Operation means manual and/or operative procedures for correction of deformities and defects, repair of injuries, diagnosis and cure of diseases, relief of suffering and prolongation of life.
Unplanned Outage refers to the unavailable status of the units of the Power Plant other than Planned Outage. Based on the urgency of the needs of outage, the Unplanned Outage can be classified into five categories: (1) immediate outage; (2) the outage which could be delayed for a short while but the units must exit within six hours; (3) the outage which could be postponed over six hours but the units must exit within seventy-two hours; (4) the outage which could be deferred over seventy-two hours but the units must exit before the next Planned Outage; and (5) the prolonged outage which is beyond the period of the Planned Outage.
Planned Downtime means planned downtime for upgrades and maintenance to the Services scheduled in advance of such upgrades and maintenance.
Approved Operating Expenses means Operating Expenses incurred by Borrower or by any Manager on Borrower’s behalf (excluding any Restricted Payments) which (i) are included in the Approved Annual Budget for the current calendar month, (ii) are for real estate taxes, insurance premiums, electric, gas, oil, water, sewer or other utility service to the Properties, (iii) are for Management Fees, or (iv) have been approved in writing by Lender as Approved Operating Expenses; provided, however, that Approved Operating Expenses shall also include, for any calendar month in which Operating Expenses exceed the Monthly Operating Expense Budgeted Amount, the amount of such excess Operating Expenses up to and not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the Monthly Operating Expense Budgeted Amount for such calendar month as to which Borrower provides to Lender a reasonably detailed explanation of the reasons for and expenditures resulting in Operating Expenses exceeding the Monthly Operating Expense Amount.
Farm operation means any activity conducted solely or primarily for the production of one or more agricultural products or commodities, including timber, for sale or home use, and customarily producing such products or commodities in sufficient quantity to be capable of contributing materially to the operator's support.

Individual generation site means the contiguous site at or on which one or more hazardous wastes are generated. An individual generation site, such as a large manufacturing plant, may have one or more sources of hazardous waste but is considered a single or individual generation site if the site or property is contiguous.

Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.
Unplanned Service Interruption means any Service Interruption where events or circumstances prevent the timely communication of prior warning or notice to the Trader or any affected Customer;
Railway Operation means the construction and operation under this Agreement of the relevant Railway and associated access roads and Additional Infrastructure (if any) within the relevant Railway Corridor and of the associated Lateral Access Roads, in accordance with approved proposals;
train operator means any person who is authorised to act as the operator of a train by a licence under section 8 of the Railways Act 1993.
Unit operating hour or "hour of unit operation" means an hour in which a unit combusts any fuel.
