Sub-acute facility means a facility that provides intermediate care on short-term or long-term basis.
Sub-acute facility means a Facility where comprehensive care is given to a patient who has had an Acute Illness, injury or exacerbation of a disease; either immediately after or instead of acute care hospitalisation, to treat specific medical conditions or to administer any necessary medical treatments.
