Redundancy Provisions definition

Redundancy Provisions means the provisions contained in clause Part 8. redundancy situation means a situation as described in clause Part 8. redundant employee means an employee as described in clause Part 8. report centre means the accustomed workplace of the employee’s manager.
Redundancy Provisions means those provisions set out in Appendix 2 – (Redundancy Provisions).

Examples of Redundancy Provisions in a sentence

  • When a surplus staffing situation involves a person who is on parental leave, then the same Restructuring and Redundancy Provisions that would apply to other employees who are part of the same surplus staffing situation, will apply.

  • Please note, that in the following industry sectors there are additional Redundancy Provisions.

  • Any termination of employment at the initiative of the University other than that provided for in clauses 21.0 – Redundancy Provisions, 25.0 – Probationary Employment, and 29.0 - Termination of Employment on the Grounds of Ill Health - of this Agreement may only occur in accordance with this clause.

  • Where, following completion of the processes referred to in subclause 20.4 above, an employee does not hold a position in the new structure or elsewhere within the University, the Head, Human Resources will write to the employee and advise that the redeployment and retrenchment provisions of clause 21.0 – Redeployment and Redundancy Provisions - will apply, subject to subclause 21.6 below.

  • Employees eligible for the Redundancy Provisions will receive: 5 weeks in lieu of notice (and in which case clause 11 does not apply).

  • Employees eligible for the Redundancy Provisions will receive: ▪ 5 weeks in lieu of notice (and in which case clause 11 does not apply).

  • If no other suitable employment within PWCS is available, or if the affected employee is unsuccessful in their application for such alternative employment, then the Redundancy Provisions would apply.

  • There are no Redundancy Provisions payable to any employee employed under this AGREEMENT.

  • Where, following completion of the processes referred to in subclause 20.4 above, an employee does not hold a position in the new structure or elsewhere within the University, the Director, Human Resources will write to the employee and advise that the redeployment and retrenchment provisions of clause 21.0 – Redeployment and Redundancy Provisions - will apply, subject to subclause 21.6 below.

Related to Redundancy Provisions

  • Redundancy occurs where the Company has made a definite decision that it no longer wishes the job the employee has been doing done by anyone and that decision leads to the termination of employment of the employee, except where this is due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour.

  • Security Based Compensation Arrangement means a stock option, stock option plan, employee stock purchase plan or any other compensation or incentive mechanism involving the issuance or potential issuance of Shares to Directors, officers, Employees and/or service providers of the Corporation or any subsidiary of the Corporation, including a share purchase from treasury which is financially assisted by the Corporation by way of a loan, guarantee or otherwise;

  • Medicaid Notification of Termination Requirements Any Contractor accessing payments for services under the Global Commitment to Health Waiver and Medicaid programs who terminates their practice will follow the Department of Vermont Health Access, Managed Care Organization enrollee notification requirements.

  • Medicare Provider Agreement means an agreement entered into between CMS (or other such entity administering the Medicare program on behalf of the CMS) and a health care provider or supplier, under which such health care provider or supplier agrees to provide services for Medicare patients in accordance with the terms of the agreement and Medicare Regulations.

  • Uniform Network Code means the uniform network code as defined in Standard Special Condition A11(6) of National Grid’s transporters licence, as such code may be amended from time to time in accordance with the terms thereof.

  • Compensation Arrangement means any direct or indirect compensatory payment or other financial agreement, arrangement or understanding with any person or entity other than the Corporation, including any agreement, arrangement or understanding with respect to any direct or indirect compensation, reimbursement or indemnification in connection with candidacy, nomination, service or action as a nominee or as a director of the Corporation;

  • Termination Assistance Period means the period commencing upon the expiration or termination of this Agreement and each Statement of Work and expiring six (6) months thereafter, as such period may be extended by the Parties.

  • Termination Assistance means the activities to be performed by the Supplier pursuant to the Exit Plan, and any other assistance required by the Customer pursuant to the Termination Assistance Notice;

  • Selective contracting arrangement means an arrangement in which a carrier participates in selective contracting with one or more providers, and which arrangement contains reasonable benefit differentials, including, but not limited to, predetermined fee or reimbursement rates for covered benefits applicable to participating and nonparticipating providers.

  • Termination Benefits means the benefits described in Section 4.1(b).

  • 414(s) Compensation means any definition of compensation that satisfies the nondiscrimination requirements of Code Section 414(s) and the Regulations thereunder. The period for determining 414(s) Compensation must be either the Plan Year or the calendar year ending with or within the Plan Year. An Employer may further limit the period taken into account to that part of the Plan Year or calendar year in which an Employee was a Participant in the component of the Plan being tested. The period used to determine 414(s) Compensation must be applied uniformly to all Participants for the Plan Year.

  • Service User means the person directly receiving the Services provided by the Provider as specified in the Service Specifications and includes their Carer and Legal Guardian where appropriate Service Quality Performance Report means a report as described in Appendix J (Service Quality Performance Report)

  • Unemployment compensation means cash benefits (including depend- ents’ allowances) payable to individ- uals with respect to their unemploy- ment, and includes regular, additional, emergency, and extended compensa- tion.(2) Regular compensation means unem- ployment compensation payable to an individual under any State law, but not including additional compensation or extended compensation.(3) Additional compensation means un- employment compensation totally fi- nanced by a State and payable under a State law by reason of conditions of high unemployment or by reason of other special factors.(4) Emergency compensation means supplementary unemployment com- pensation payable under a temporary Federal law after exhaustion of regular and extended compensation.(5) Extended compensation means un- employment compensation payable to an individual for weeks of unemploy- ment in an extended benefit period, under those provisions of a State law which satisfy the requirements of the Federal-State Extended Unemploy- ment Compensation Act of 1970, as amended, 26 U.S.C. 3304 note, and part 615 of this chapter, with respect to the payment of extended compensation.

  • Compensation and Benefits Programs means all compensation and benefit plans, policies, and programs of the Debtors, and all amendments and modifications thereto, applicable to the Debtors’ employees, former employees, retirees, and non-employee directors and the employees, former employees and retirees of their subsidiaries, including all savings plans, retirement plans, health care plans, disability plans, and incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, and life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance plans.

  • Switching and Tagging Rules means the switching and tagging procedures of Interconnected Transmission Owners and Interconnection Customer as they may be amended from time to time.

  • payment service user means a natural or legal person making use of a payment service in the capacity of either payer or payee, or both;

  • Reciprocal Compensation means an arrangement between two carriers in which each receives compensation from the other carrier for the transport and termination on each carrier's network of Local Traffic, as defined in Section 1.12 above, that originates on the network facilities of the other carrier.

  • Service Users has the same meaning as defined in the Service Agreement (Part A) – Standard Terms of Funding.
