Pre-existing Disease definition

Pre-existing Disease means any condition, ailment or injury or related condition(s) for which you had signs or symptoms, and / or were diagnosed, and / or received medical advice / treatment within 48 months to prior to the first policy issued by the insurer.

Examples of Pre-existing Disease in a sentence

  • Any Pre-existing Disease till 48 months from the date of coverage.

  • Any investigation or treatment for any Illness, disorder, complication or ailment arising out of or connected with the Pre-existing Disease shall be considered part of that Pre-existing Disease.

  • Any Pre-existing Disease or Disability arising out of a Pre-existing Diseases or any complication arising therefrom.

  • Where an individual is added to this Policy, either by way of endorsement or at the time of Renewal, the Pre-existing Disease clause, exclusions, loading (if any) and Waiting Periods will be applicable considering such Policy Year as the first year of the Policy with Us for that Insured Person.

More Definitions of Pre-existing Disease

Pre-existing Disease means any condition, ailment or injury or related condition(s) for which there were signs or symptoms, and/or were diagnosed, and/or for which medical advice/treatment was received within 48 months prior to the first policy issued by the insurer and renewed continuously thereafter.
Pre-existing Disease means any condition, ailment or injury or related condition(s) for which the Insured / Insured Person had signs or symptoms, and /or were diagnosed, and /or received medical advice/ treatment, within 48 months prior to the this policy.

Any complication arising from pre-existing disease shall be considered as a part of the pre-existing disease.
Pre-existing Disease means any condition, ailment, Injury or disease:• That is/are diagnosed by a physician within 48 months prior to the effective date of the Policy issued by Insurer or its reinstatement; or• For which medical advice or treatment was recommended by, or received from, a Physician within 48 months prior to the effective date of the Policy issued by Insurer or its reinstatement.
Pre-existing Disease means ailment or injury or related condition(s) for which the insured person had signs or symptoms and/or was diagnosed and/or received medical advice /treatment within 48 months prior to insured person‟s first policy with the Company.
Pre-existing Disease means any condition, ailment, Injury or disease:o That is/are diagnosed by a Medical Practitioner within 48 months prior to the effective date of the Policy issued by the Company or its reinstatement; oro For which medical advice or treatment was recommended by, or received from, a Medical Practitioner within 48 months prior to the effective date of the Policy issued by the Company; or its reinstatement.
