Plant definition

Plant means the machinery and apparatus intended to form or forming part of the Works.
Plant means the apparatus, machinery and other equipment intended to form or forming part of the Permanent Works, including vehicles purchased for the Procuring Entity and relating to the construction or operation of the Works.
Plant means and connote the entire assembly of the plant and equipments covered by the contract.

Examples of Plant in a sentence

  • If the Authority’s Engineer requires the Plant, Materials, design or workmanship to be retested, the tests shall be repeated under the same terms and conditions, as applicable in each case.

  • If, as a result of an examination, inspection, measurement or testing, any Plant, Materials, design or workmanship is found to be defective or otherwise not in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, the Authority’s Engineer shall reject the Plant, Materials, design or workmanship by giving notice to the Contractor, with reasons.

  • Planting recommendations shall be provided by the Virginia NRCS Wetland Team Leaders and/or NRCS State Biologist and through the use of the VA Plant Establishment Guide which can be found in Section IV of the FOTG.

  • City retains Contractor to perform all of the non-exclusive professional services described in Exhibit “A” which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference which shall include providing Certified Water Treatment Plant Operator services (“Services”).


More Definitions of Plant

Plant means Poles, Lines materials and all things to be provided under the Contract for incorporation in the Works.
