Water body means surface waters including rivers, streams, lakes, marine waters, estuaries and wetlands.
Whole body means, for purposes of external exposure, head, trunk including male gonads, arms above the elbow, or legs above the knee.
Governing body means the board of county commissioners or a county council if a county; the legislative authority if a municipal corporation; or the board of township trustees if a township; the board of directors if a sanitary district; or the board of trustees if a regional water and sewer district.
NHS body means the Board, an NHS trust, an NHS foundation trust, a Local Health Board, a Health Board, a Health and Social Services Board or a Health and Social Services Trust or, a Health Board or Special Health Board constituted under section 2 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978;
management body means a management body as defined in Article 4(1)(36) of Directive 2014/65/EU;
licensing body means any body that licenses or regulates any profession;
Public body means a devolved public body listed in Schedule 3 of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000, as amended.
Hearing Body or “Hearing Panel” means any person or persons authorized by the University Vice President for Student Affairs, Community College Dean of Students or Charter Oak State College Provost to determine whether a student has violated the Code and to impose sanctions as warranted, including a hearing officer or hearing board.
Crown Body means any department, office or executive agency of the Crown;
Public purchasing body means the State or the subdivision or agency making a public purchase. Government Code Section 4550.
Regional body means the members of the council and the premiers of Ontario and Quebec or their designee as established by the agreement.
private body means a natural person who carries or has carried on any trade, business or profession in that capacity, a partnership or juristic person.
professional body means a body of, or representing,
Sponsoring Body means a body being a charitable or a not-for-profit Society or Trust or Company under Section 8 of Companies Act 2013 making an application for declaring an institution under its administrative, academic and financial control as a Deemed to be University.
Local governing body means the group of governors appointed and elected to carry out specified functions in relation to the Academy as delegated by the Academy Trust Company.
Body means any organisation or entity, whether a juristic person or not, and includes a community association;
Advisory Body means any board, commission, committee, council, or authority, however selected, whose total budget, appropriations, or authorized expenditures constitute less than 1 percent of the budget of each agency it serves or $100,000, whichever is less, and whose powers, jurisdiction, and authority are solely advisory and do not include the final determination or adjudication of any personal or property rights, duties, or obligations, other than those relating to its internal operations.
supervisory body means a functionary or institution referred to in Schedule 2;
General Body means all the Ordinary members (Active members and Non active members)
corporate person means a company as defined in clause (20) of section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), a limited liability partnership, as defined in clause (n) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (6 of 2009), or any other person incorporated with limited liability under any law for the time being in force but shall not include any financial service provider;
Official Body means any government or political subdivision or any agency, authority, bureau, central bank, board, commission, department or instrumentality of either, or any court, tribunal, grand jury or arbitrator, in each case whether foreign or domestic.
