On hand means present, especially for a specific purpose, e.g. “The Fire and Rescue service is on hand in case of an emergency” = “The Fire and Rescue service is standing by in case of an emergency”.
On hand means, in respect of a taxpayer, livestock of any type physically under the control of that taxpayer whether owned, bailed, or leased but excluding any deficiencies of livestock associated with bailed or leased livestock and any livestock not owned by the taxpayer but being under the control of the taxpayer for a fee.

Exceptional Circumstances: shall mean one or more unavoidable circumstances, as determined by the ISO, that individually or collectively render as unavailable the data necessary for the ISO to perform an audit and review of a Market Party, pursuant to Section 23.4.5.6.2 of this Services Tariff. Exceptional Circumstances may include, but are not limited to: the inaccessibility of the physical facility; the inaccessibility of necessary documentation or other data; and the unavailability of information regarding the regulatory obligations with which the Market Party will be required to comply in order to return its Generator to service which regulatory obligations are not yet known but which will be made known by the applicable regulatory authority under existing laws and regulations provided that none of the above described circumstances are the result of delay or inaction by the Market Party. The magnitude of the repair cost, alone, shall not be an Exceptional Circumstance.

  • Processing Center means a legal entity or its department that supports the informational and technological interaction between payment participants.

  • Terminals means the Terminals set forth on Schedule A attached hereto.

  • On-site means the same or geographically contiguous property which may be divided by public or private right-of- way, provided the entrance and exit between the properties is at a cross-roads intersection, and access is by crossing as opposed to going along, the right-of-way. Non-contiguous properties owned by the same person but connected by a right-of-way which he controls and to which the public does not have access, is also considered on-site property.

  • Interim Monitor means any monitor appointed pursuant to Paragraph III of this Order or Paragraph III of the related Order to Maintain Assets.
