Native Load Customers definition

Native Load Customers means the wholesale and retail power customers of a Transmission Owner on whose behalf the Transmission Owner, by statute, franchise, regulatory requirement, or contract, has undertaken an obligation to construct and operate the Transmission Owner’s system to meet the reliable electric needs of such customers.
Native Load Customers means the wholesale and retail customers of an RTP on whose behalf the RTP, by statute, franchise, regulatory requirement, or contract, has undertaken an obligation to construct and operate the RTP’s Transmission System to meet the reliable electric needs of such customers.
Native Load Customers means a Party’s Retail Native Load Customers plus its wholesale customers that have Native Load served by the Party, for which the Party has an obligation pursuant to current or future wholesale contracts, for the length of such contracts, to engage in planning and to sell and deliver electric capacity and energy in a manner comparable to the Party’s service to its Retail Native Load Customers.

  • Transmission Provider must conduct the necessary studies and construct the Network Upgrades needed to integrate the Generating Facility in a manner comparable to that in which Transmission Owner integrates its generating facilities to serve Native Load Customers as all Network Resources.

  • Buyer shall use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to cause each LSE to (i) adopt, implement and maintain an emergency load curtailment program in the event a Curtailment is effected by Seller, and (ii) comply with its obligation to curtail its LSE Native Load Customers in a manner consistent with such emergency load curtailment program.
