National Employment Standard definition

National Employment Standard. (NES) means the National Employment Standards as contained in sections 59 to 131 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth)
National Employment Standard or “NES” means the minimum conditions of employment that are defined as the National Employment Standards by the Fair Work Act 2009. Examples of National Employment Standard in a sentence

  • The National Employment Standard of the FW Act contains minimum entitlements relating to redundancy pay, including in transfer of business or transfer of employment situations.

Related to National Employment Standard

  • Seasonal employment means the employment of 1 or more individuals primarily hired to perform services during regularly recurring periods of 26 weeks or less in any 52-week period other than services in the construction industry.

  • Professional employee means an employee who holds a position for which a certificate issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners is required.
