Job Classifications. The grade of classification in which the employee is currently assigned.

More Definitions of Job Classifications

Job Classifications means the Job Classifications set out in Schedule 1 to this Agreement and defined as follows: Shop Assistant (Introductory): A Shop Assistant (Introductory) refers to any of the following: cashier, liquor/grocery/dairy/deli/produce/Point of Sale assistant, cleaner (store or meat), within their first 6 months of employment. Shop Assistant: A Shop Assistant refers to any of the following: cashier, liquor/grocery/dairy/deli/produce/Point of Sale assistant, cleaner (store or meat) after they have completed their first 6 months of employment. Supervisor: A Supervisor refers to either of the following: a cash office assistant responsible for the counting of daily takings/floats or other office administrative functions; or a cashier who, in the absence of the service manager, is required to manage the front- end service function.

Job Classifications. All jobs shall be described and classified by Management. The job description and classification for each job in effect shall continue in effect unless (1) Management changes the job content (requirements of the job as to the training, skill, responsibility, effort and working conditions) to the extent of one (1) full job class or more; (2) the job is terminated or not occupied during a period of one (1) year; or (3) the description and classification are changed by the mutual agreement of the officially designated representative of the Company and the Union. The Local Union Rate Committee will be involved in the development and implementation of all new job classifications and job descriptions. The Plant Union Committee and Management shall discuss and determine the accuracy of all job descriptions. The Union shall be responsible for the filing of grievances in a timely fashion (30 days). All jobs shall be described and classified by Management, taking into account, without being bound by, the information set forth in the manual for job classifications of production and maintenance jobs dated August 1, 1971.

  • Pandemic Measures means any quarantine, “shelter in place,” “stay at home,” workforce reduction, social distancing, shut down, closure, sequester, immunization requirements, safety or similar Law, directive, guidelines or recommendations promulgated by any Governmental Authority, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, in each case, in connection with or in response to a pandemic, including COVID-19.

  • Classification Society or “Class” means the Society referred to in line 4.

  • Job means a position or job family level in a job family [74:840-1.3].
