Home Local Union means the local union in which the Employee is a member.

Home Local Union means the Local Union of which an Employee is a member. If he is not a union member, it means the Local Union which represents the Employee for purposes of collective bargaining in the primary geographic area in which the Employee is employed. If an Employee transfers or otherwise changes his membership from one Local Union to another Local Union, his new Local Union shall become his Home Local Union.‌

Home Local Union. When an employee is assigned to work service outside his home local union jurisdiction within District Council 16 for more than eight hours in a standard work week within any one jurisdiction, and when the hourly wage rate in the jurisdiction where the employee is working differs from that of his home local union, the higher rate shall apply after the first eight hours of work. All of the legally negotiated fringe benefit contributions or deductions under the employee’s home local union's agreement shall be paid only to the Trustees of the Fringe Benefit Funds of the home local union. If an Employer wants to transfer an employee from outside of District Council 16, such employee must be cleared in through the Local Union the employee is working in and is subject to the terms and conditions of employment, including trust fund contributions, under this Service Master Labor Agreement and applicable regional addendum.   • This notification should also be simultaneously sent to the employee’s Home Local Union and to his/her designated Home Fund or Funds.

  • For the purpose of this Agreement the words "Home Local Union" shall mean the local union having jurisdiction in the area of the Employer's place of business, and therefore, is the local union which referred the employee to the Employer.

  • Local Union means a bargaining unit representing employees at an institution that has ratified a Collective Agreement that includes this Common Agreement.

  • Home health agency means a person certified by medicare whose business is to provide to individuals in their places of residence other than in a hospital, nursing home, or county medical care facility 1 or more of the following services: nursing services, therapeutic services, social work services, homemaker services, home health aide services, or other related services.

  • New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.

  • Allied means Allied Waste Industries, Inc., a Delaware corporation.

  • Municipal Finance Management Act means the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003);

  • South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.

  • District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.

  • Department of Health and Human Services means the Department of Health and Human Services

  • Savings association means a Fed- eral savings and loan association or a Federal savings bank chartered under section 5 of the Home Owners’ Loan Act, a building and loan, savings and loan or homestead association or a co- operative bank (other than a coopera- tive bank described in 12 U.S.C. 1813(a)(2)) the deposits of which are in- sured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and any corporation (other than a bank) the deposits of which are insured by the Federal De- posit Insurance Corporation that the Office of the Comptroller of the Cur- rency and the Federal Deposit Insur- ance Corporation jointly determine to be operating in substantially the same manner as a savings association, and shall include any savings bank or any cooperative bank which is deemed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to be a savings association under 12 U.S.C. 1467a(1).
