Frame Relay definition

Frame Relay means a high speed switched data service accessing the Network via a permanent leased digital Tail Circuit supporting the transfer of bi-directional Frame Relay frames between terminating equipment at Locations and Scitor ITS' Frame Relay service port on the Network.
Frame Relay means the information transfer standard for relaying traffic based on an address contained in the six-byte header of a variable length packet that is up to 2,106 bytes long.
Frame Relay means the data-packet switching service used by WordCruncher to transmit data between the System and the Access Terminals.

Examples of Frame Relay in a sentence

  • Arrangement Traffic; (5) special access, private line, Frame Relay, ATM, or any other traffic that is not switched by the terminating Party; (6) Tandem Transit Traffic; (7) Voice Information Service Traffic (as defined in Section 5 of the Additional Services Attachment); or, (8) Virtual Foreign Exchange Traffic (or V/FX Traffic) (as defined in the Interconnection Attachment).

  • Because SBC/Ameritech has transitioned such Advanced Services to its structurally separate affiliate(s), SBC Illinois has no further obligation to make available such Advanced Services for resale or to interconnect its Frame Relay network with CLEC and has no further obligation to make available such Advanced Services for resale or to provision Frame Relay interconnection under the rates, terms and conditions set forth in the MFN Agreement (to the extent applicable).

Frame Relay. In lieu of any other rates or discounts, the Customer will pay fixed monthly recurring port charges ranging from $55.80 to $2,079 (based on port speed ranging from 56/64kps to 44,736 Kbps) and PVC charges ranging from $2.97 to $7,983.36 (based on speed ranging from 16 kbps to 43.008 Mbps) for domestic Frame Relay Service.

Frame Relay means Telstra's frame-switched data carriage network connecting intelligent end-points within Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Frame Relay. The Customer will be charged the following range of fixed monthly recurring port charges for domestic and Metro Service Frame Relay Services based on port speed $7.20 to $8,439.00. Discounts: Audio Conferencing. The Customer will receive a discount of 20% for International Dial-Out Audio Conferencing Service (U.S. Originating). Data: The Customer will receive a 60% discount for monthly recurring port and PVC charges for domestic Frame Relay Service (Option 2).
