Flag State definition

Flag State means the State whose flag the Vessel is flying.

• Evidence that the Mortgage in respect of the Relevant Ship has been registered with first priority and/or preferred status against the Relevant Ship through the relevant Registry under the laws and flag of the relevant Flag State.

More Definitions of Flag State

Flag State means, in relation to each Ship, such state or territory designated in writing by the Bank in its absolute discretion, at the request of the relevant Borrower, as being the "Flag State" of such Ship for the purposes of the relevant Ship Security Documents;
