Cost of work definition

Cost of work. , in table above, shall mean the agreement amount of the work.
Cost of work means the total cost of all operations performed for the Named Insured during the policy period by independent contractors, including materials used or delivered for use by whomsoever supplied, except maintenance or ordinary alterations and repairs on premises owned or rented by the Named Insured.
Cost of work for this clause shall mean final cost as mentioned in the final bill carriedout under single contract including cost of materials, if any, supplied by clients. However,the cost of materials issued free of cost shall not be considered for calculating the cost of work.

More Definitions of Cost of work

Cost of work for this clause shall mean completed cost of work as mentioned in the final bill including internal electrical works, if any, carried out under single contract including cost of materials, if any, supplied by clients. However, the cost of materials issued free of cost shall not be considered for calculating the cost of work. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum; calculated from the date of completion to the last date of receipt of applications for bids. “Similar work” for this clause means "Furniture & Fitting works.”
