Code 1 definition

Code 1 means a non-emergency mode, or status, for the purpose of operation of an ambulance service vehicle. Neither red lights nor siren shall be utilized, and the vehicle shall not be considered or afforded the exemption of an "authorized emergency vehicle" pursuant to Title 47 ("Motor Vehicle Code");
