Business Entity definition

Business Entity means "any individual, firm, partnership, corporation, association or any other commercial organization, including parent-entities and wholly-owned subsidiaries" (to the extent that their operations are related to the purpose of the contract with the City).

Business Entity. – means any natural or legal person; business corporation (and any officer, person, or business entity that owns or controls 10% or more of the corporation’s stock); professional services corporation (and any of its officers or shareholders); limited liability company (and any members); general partnership (and any partners); limited partnership (and any partners); in the case of a sole proprietorship: the proprietor; a business trust, association or any other legal commercial entity organized under the laws of New Jersey or any other state or foreign jurisdiction, including its principals, officers, or partners.
