Weekend Hours. All workers newly hired after July 1, 1997 will be required to sign a statement agreeing that they may be required to work on Saturday or Sunday, and that their shift or schedule may be changed by management. Such changes shall take place two (2) weeks after the worker and the Chief Xxxxxxx have been notified in writing of the shift or schedule change. The procedures outlined in Article 17.1 regarding changes to shift or schedule do not apply to those workers hired after July 1, 1997; however, if requested, the parties will meet informally to discuss the change during the two (2) weeks. Workers hired prior to July 1, 1997 may have their schedules changed under the procedures outlined in Article 17.1. However, such changes cannot include Saturday or Sunday hours without the written consent of the worker as provided for in Education Code §88010.5. Such workers retain these rights regardless of layoff, reinstatement, demotion or promotion. Workers hired prior to July 1, 1997 may be required to work occasionally on Saturday or Sunday on an overtime basis.
Weekend Hours. The parties acknowledge that there are positions that will be scheduled solely for evenings and weekends every week. For other positions, the Corporation will make an effort not to schedule employees to work more than two (2) consecutive weekends within a given scheduled period. The Corporation will also try to schedule to avoid a situation of having less than twelve (12) hours between shifts. 2016
Weekend Hours. 12.4.1. Except where an employee is specifically employed to be available to work weekend hours, Xxxxxx Estate Agents shall as far as practicable take into account an Employee’s personal and family circumstances, when determining whether an Employee will be required to work weekend hours.
Weekend Hours. The Practitioner shall be remunerated at 150% of the Practitioner's ordinary hourly rate for rostered weekend hours worked.
Weekend Hours. No clinic nurse may be required to work more than two weekend shifts in any calendar month. Jail nurses may be scheduled to work two shifts every other weekend in accordance with the rotating schedule described in Section 4.1.
Weekend Hours. If the relief nurse is hired to more 22 than one (1) department, then the weekend 23 requirement applies in each of the nurse’s 24 departments. For departments that do not schedule 25 weekend shifts, Friday or Monday shifts will count 26 toward this requirement.
Weekend Hours. Employees, except temporary, substitute, and student employees required by the District to work additional hours on a Saturday or Sunday shall be compensated at the overtime rate of pay. Temporary, substitute, and student employees shall only be entitled to overtime pay for weekend work to the extent required by applicable law.
