Unpaid Portion. A pregnant unit member may apply for an unpaid health leave (Section C-2 of this Article) or personal leave (Section C-3 of this Article) during pregnancy.

Unpaid Leave 6. Accrued compensatory time off may be used at the employee’s discretion, with management approval, after exhaustion of 100% sick leave (No. 3 above). However, FLSA compensatory time off shall not be counted against the employee’s four (4) month (nine [9] pay period [720 hours]) family or medical leave entitlement. Therefore, any use of FLSA compensatory time off under this Section shall extend the employee’s family or medical leave by the total amount of FLSA compensatory time off used.
Unpaid Leaves Employees on unpaid leaves may not participate in the matching program while on leave.
Unpaid Sick Leave The City Manager shall, upon the advice and recommendation of the City physician, grant unpaid sick leave for up to one (1) year upon application of any employee whose paid sick leave is exhausted. Any extension of such leave shall be subject to the Civil Service Board rules.
Accrued (and theretofore unpaid) interest shall be payable (i) in respect of each Base Rate Loan, quarterly in arrears on each Quarterly Payment Date, (ii) in respect of each Eurodollar Loan, on the last day of each Interest Period applicable thereto and, in the case of an Interest Period in excess of three months, on each date occurring at three month intervals after the first day of such Interest Period and (iii) in respect of each Loan, on any repayment or prepayment (on the amount repaid or prepaid), at maturity (whether by acceleration or otherwise) and, after such maturity, on demand.
Outstanding Amount The Issuing and Principal Paying Agent shall, upon request from the Issuer, the Trustee, the Guarantor or any Dealer, inform such person of the aggregate nominal amount of Notes, or Notes of any particular Series, then outstanding at the time of such request. In the case of Notes represented by a NGN, the nominal amount of Notes represented by such NGN shall be the aggregate amount from time to time entered in the records of both Euroclear and Clearstream, Luxembourg. The records of Euroclear and Clearstream, Luxembourg shall be conclusive evidence of the nominal amount of Notes represented by the relevant NGN and for such purposes, a statement issued by Euroclear or Clearstream, Luxembourg stating the nominal amount of Notes represented by the relevant NGN at any time shall be conclusive evidence of the records of the relevant clearing systems at that time. Payments made by the Issuer in respect of Notes represented by a NGN shall discharge the Issuer’s obligations in respect thereof. Any failure to make the entries in the records of the relevant clearing systems shall not affect such discharge.
Other Unpaid Leaves It is agreed that this provision will be interpreted in a manner consistent with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Employment Standards Act.
Benefits – Prepayment or Repayment of Premiums During Unpaid Portion of Leave 11.4.1 Teachers may prepay or repay benefit premiums payable during the duration of parental leave.
