Town’s Responsibilities. X. Xxxxx to joining the CLMRN, the Town shall ensure that it meets all equipment and other requirements necessary to ensure compatibility with and protect against degradation of the CLMRN. Such equipment and other requirements shall include, but not be limited to, portable radios, mobile radios, dispatch consoles, building enhancements, antennas, cabling, backup power, recording devices and subscriber devices/units.

Town shall collaborate with Agency to finalize all policies and procedures for the operation of the UCAP including the process for customers to make appointments, specific criteria to qualify for financial assistance, required customer documentation, and all related actions necessary to complete the process efficiently.

The Town shall provide local funds in an amount not to exceed $10,000,000.00 in accordance with the terms of this Agreement to reimburse INDOT for preliminary engineering, design, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, construction and inspection costs of the Interchange Project. Whitestown shall not be responsible for any cost of the Interchange Project or the SR 267 Project in excess of the $10,000,000 reimbursement provided under this Subsection 1.2.A. The specific terms of the reimbursement from the Town to INDOT shall occur in the manner and as described in Section 1.4(A) below.

The Town of Xxxxxxxx will: v select the specific section of Town road right-of-way to be adopted. v provide safety vests, "road work" signs, trash bags, safety information and training, flags and traffic cones. v erect sign(s) with the group's name displayed at the beginning of each adopted section of road right-of-way; unless, in the opinion of the Town of Xxxxxxxx, erecting the signs would jeopardize the program, be counter-productive to its purpose, create a hazard to the safety of the public or be in conflict with government or Town policies. v remove and dispose of filled trash bags. v remove litter from the adopted right-of-way section under unusual circumstances (i.e., to remove large, heavy or hazardous items) that have been flagged. v monitor to ensure the objectives of the program are being met. v approve the name, titles or words placed on ADOPT-A-ROAD signs. MODIFICATION/RENEWAL/TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT OR PROGRAM The ADOPT-A-ROAD agreement or program may be modified in scope or altered in any manner at the discretion of the Town. Volunteers will have the option of renewing their agreement, subject to the approval of the Town and continuation of the program. Updated volunteer information is required at the time of the renewal.
