Time Off for Representatives. (a) A Representative shall obtain the permission of his/her immediate supervisor before leaving his/her work to investigate a grievance, to meet with local management for the purpose of dealing with grievances and to attend meetings called by management. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Time Off for Representatives. 12.01 A Representative shall obtain the permission of his or her immediate Supervisor before leaving work to investigate with fellow employees complaints of an urgent nature, to meet with local management for the purpose of discussing such complaints or problems directly related to employment and to attend meetings called by management. The Representative shall report back to his or her Supervisor, or designee, before resuming normal duties.
Time Off for Representatives. A Representative shall obtain the permission of the Manager or Maintenance Manager as appropriate before leaving work to investigate a grievance, to meet with management for the purpose of dealing with grievances and to attend meetings called by management. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Representative shall make every reasonable effort to report back to the Manager or Maintenance Manager as appropriate before resuming normal duties. When operational requirements permit and upon reasonable notice the Employer will grant leave without pay for one (1) employee:
Time Off for Representatives. The City shall allow a reasonable number of employee representatives of the Union reasonable time off during regular work hours without loss of compensation or other benefits for not more than five (5) employees when formally meeting and conferring with representatives of the City on matters within the scope of representation.
Time Off for Representatives. 9.0 A member of the Grievance Committee will be given time off without loss of regular pay to investigate complaints of fellow workers and to attend meetings with Management to discuss grievances.

Where practicable, a representative shall obtain the permission of the employee’s supervisor before leaving the employee’s work to investigate, with fellow employees, complaints of an urgent nature, to meet with management for the purpose of dealing with grievances and to attend meetings called by management. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. Where practicable, the representative shall report back to the employee’s supervisor before resuming the employee’s normal duties.
Time Off for Representatives. 12.11 The Union shall have Representatives appointed at all times to carry out duties as outlined below. The Union shall advise the Employer in writing or the names of these Representatives at the time of their appointment and any subsequent changes to this list.
Time Off for Representatives. 8.01 It is recognized by the parties to this agreement that it is in the best interest of the employer and the employee to facilitate the ability of management and labour to represent their principles through the frequent exchange of information including actions taken or contemplated that may impact individuals, the corporation or the union and informal consultation. The following terms are intended to assist the parties in carrying out these responsibilities in a fair and equitable manner.
Time Off for Representatives. 7.04 Operational requirements permitting, the Employer shall grant time off with pay to an employee to enable him to carry out his functions as a Representative on the Employer's premises. When the discharge of these functions requires an employee who is a Representative to leave his normal place of work, the employee shall report his return to his supervisor whenever practicable.
Time Off for Representatives. 4.01 Time off with pay shall be granted to employee representatives when meeting with officers of the Employer on behalf of the Union, on matters of business affecting both Employer and the Union.
