TEMPORARY STAFF. Employees in any group who have not been appointed to the permanent staff pursuant to Article 3.06.
TEMPORARY STAFF a) A temporary staff representative, under this Agreement, means those employed for a period of less than six (6) months total accumulated time and shall be entitled to all benefits of this Agreement. Notice will be given to the Staff Union of all temporary staff, the reason, and the approximate duration of employment. This six (6) month period may be extended by mutual agreement.
TEMPORARY STAFF. 8.1 You must contact Show Support immediately via telephone in the event of an accident and/or injury to Temporary Staff.
TEMPORARY STAFF. The Employer in good faith will not seek to abolish permanent bargaining unit positions and replace them with temporary help. Further, the Employer will not make a practice of employing temporary help in positions that could be filled by regular part-time or full-time employees. This provision shall not prevent or control the Employer’s right to participate in bona fide training programs.
TEMPORARY STAFF. 1 Seniority Upon appointment to a regular established position, and upon completion of the probationary period, a Temporary Representative appointed to a regular position shall be credited with total length of continuous service as a Temporary Representative for the purpose of service and unit seniority. Continuous service shall mean any service with breaks less than four (4) months. The BCGEU may waive all or part of the probationary period.
TEMPORARY STAFF. The Employer will be able to hire "Temporary Staff." These employees will be permitted to work a maximum of 90 calendar days per employee in the payroll year and will not be covered by this Agreement. No full-time employee or regularly scheduled part-time employee active on the payroll shall have their scheduled work hours reduced as the result of giving those hours to Temporary Staff.
TEMPORARY STAFF. 34.03.01 Temporary Staff include employees hired, for a defined period of time not to exceed ten (10) months, to replace an absent employee or as a result of excessive workload or new one-time initiatives.
TEMPORARY STAFF. 22. Upon receipt of an Enquiry for Temporary Staff, the Agency shall manage a campaign to identify suitable Candidates and shall provide weekly updates on the progress of the campaign to Boulting’s Senior Representative.
TEMPORARY STAFF. In the event of a layoff, if there are temporary employees in the Emergency Services Officer or Driver/Operator classification, the Laboratory will not retain those employees or employees of another classification that may perform related duties. In addition, when rehiring occurs, no temporary employees will be hired into Emergency Services Officer or Driver/Operator positions until the Emergency Services Officer and Driver/Operator recall list(s) have been implemented according to the recall provision as described in this Agreement.
TEMPORARY STAFF. It is agreed that the Company shall have the right to utilize current salaried employees, temporary staff, and subcontractors to perform bargaining work, once all provisions of the collective agreement have been exhausted to maintain production levels, rather than hiring new employees. The Company shall notify the Union in the event this becomes necessary.
