Status of Employees of the Department. All of the privileges and immunities from liability, exemption from laws, ordinances and rules, all pension, relief, disability, worker's compensation, and other benefits which apply to the activity of employees of the Department when performing their respective functions within the territorial limits of a Member Agency shall apply to them to the same degree and extent while engaged in the performance of any of their functions and duties under the provisions of this Agreement and Chapter 5 of Division 7 of Title 1 of the California Government Code, commencing with Section 6500. However, none of the employees of the Department shall be deemed to be employed by any Member Agency or to be subject to any of the requirements of such Member Agency by reason of their employment by the Department.

  • Modes of Employment The Employer may employ a Full Time, Part Time, Fixed Term or Casual Employee. The Employer may direct an Employee to perform such duties as are within the limits of the Employee’s skill, competence and training.

  • Record of Employment At the conclusion of the appointment period, the University will provide a record of employment consisting of inclusive dates of appointment(s) and classification(s) if requested by the employee.
