Staff Nurses. 474. The City agrees to attempt to obtain Municipal Railway passes from the Public Utilities Commission to be supplied to department heads. Department heads who have employees who are required to move from one City location to another during normal working hours shall be entitled to obtain sufficient Municipal Railway passes distribute to employees as needed. It is understood that these passes are to be used by employees only during normal working hours and while on City business.

Staff Nurses. 480. The City agrees to continue the enrollment of Registered Nurses covered by this MOU in the State Disability Insurance program. The payment of sick leave pursuant to the Leaves of Absence Rule of the Civil Service Commission shall not affect and shall be supplementary to payments from State Disability Insurance. An employee entitled to SDI shall receive in addition thereto such portion of his/her accumulated sick leave with pay as will approximately equal, but not exceed, the regularly biweekly gross earnings of the employee, including any regularly paid premiums. Such supplementary payments shall continue for the duration of the employee's illness or disability or until sick leave with pay credited to the employee is exhausted, whichever occurs first.

Staff Nurses. 599. The Department and Union recognize the need to provide specialty training programs at San Francisco General Hospital in areas including, but not limited to: Critical Care, Emergency, Labor and Delivery, and Operating Room Nursing. Further, the Department supports criterion-based selection of program applicants. The Professional Performance Committee will recommend to Nursing Administration the selection criteria. Selection criteria will measure prerequisite skills and abilities necessary for successful completion of the specialty training program. 600. A nurse desiring placement in a specialty training program must apply through Job Apps online. The nurse will be granted an interview.

  • Staff Nurse A registered nurse who is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of the patient.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Nurses Nurses shall meet and develop a plan for preliminary assignments for the upcoming school year. This plan shall be provided to the Executive Director of Student Support for approval by June 1st. If there is a change in unit member personnel after the original plan has been submitted, the group shall provide an updated plan to the Executive Director of Student Support for approval.

  • Per Diem Nurses 550. If per diem nurses are required to move from one City location to another during normal working hours, they shall have access to Municipal Railway passes as necessary.

  • STAFF ORIENTATION 4101 The Employer shall provide an appropriate orientation program for nurses newly employed. The orientation program shall include such essential information as policies, nursing procedures, the location of supplies and equipment, fire, safety and disaster plans. Where necessary, orientation shall be provided for nurses moving to a new area of practice. 4102 The Employer shall provide a program of inservice education for nurses pertinent to patient care. 4103 The Employer shall provide, access to reference materials as is required in relation to maintaining current knowledge of general nursing care. APPENDIX "A" - SALARIES A1. Effective April 1, 2013 - Monthly salaries include a 2% general increase. - Hourly salary is calculated as (monthly salary x 12) ÷ annual hours.   • Outpatient Dental Anesthesia Services This plan covers anesthesia services received in connection with a dental service when provided in a hospital or freestanding ambulatory surgical center and: • the use of this is medically necessary; and • the setting in which the service is received is determined to be appropriate. This plan also covers facility fees associated with these services.

  • Casual Nurses i) It is understood that casual Nurses do not have normal hours of work. All assignments for the next day will be faxed by the office by 1630h.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Outpatient If you receive dialysis services in a hospital's outpatient unit or in a dialysis facility, we cover the use of the treatment room, related supplies, solutions, drugs, and the use of the dialysis machine. In Your Home If you receive dialysis services in your home and the services are under the supervision of a hospital or outpatient facility dialysis program, we cover the purchase or rental (whichever is less, but never to exceed our allowance for purchase) of the dialysis machine, related supplies, solutions, drugs, and necessary installation costs. Related Exclusions If you receive dialysis services in your home, this agreement does NOT cover: • installing or modifying of electric power, water and sanitary disposal or charges for these services; • moving expenses for relocating the machine; • installation expenses not necessary to operate the machine; or • training you or members of your family in the operation of the machine. This agreement does NOT cover dialysis services when received in a doctor's office.

  • Nurse is an employee included in the Bargaining Unit described in Article 2.00.
