Rest Period After Overtime. (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.
Rest Period After Overtime. (a) An employee, other than a casual, who works so much overtime between the termination of their ordinary work on any day or shift and the commencement of their ordinary work on the next day or shift that they have not had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between those times, will be released after completion of such overtime until they have had 10 consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for rostered ordinary hours occurring during such absence.

Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift. In the event that an employee agrees to a request from site management to resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty, the employee shall be paid at double ordinary time rates until the employee is released from duty for such period. An employee who has worked continuously (except for meal and crib times allowed by this Agreement) for 20 hours shall not be required to continue at or recommence work for at least 12 hours and shall not be disadvantaged.
Rest Period After Overtime. 12.4.1 If is necessary to work extended overtime, an employee may take 10 consecutive hours off duty between the end of the overtime and the start of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift without loss of pay.
Rest Period After Overtime. 5.6.6.1 An employee who works so much overtime: Between the termination of the employee’s ordinary work day or shift, and the commencement of the employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift that the employee has not had at least ten consecutive hours off duty between these times; or on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, (not being ordinary working days) or on a rostered day off, without having had ten consecutive hours off duty in the 24 hours preceding the employee’s ordinary commencing time on the next ordinary day or shift; will subject to this subclause be released after completion of such overtime until the employee has had ten hours off duty without loss of pay for ordinary working time occurring during such absence.
