Resource Management Act. National and ACT agree to promote investment, jobs, wages, employment and prosperity, as well as environmental improvement, through amendments to the RMA. The National-led government will establish a high quality advisory group to recommend short-term amendments to the RMA, including but not confined to those which National has put forward, as a basis for select committee consideration early in 2009. The membership of the group and its terms of reference will be agreed between National and ACT. Beyond the short term, consideration will be given to further improvements, including better mechanisms for water allocation and compensation for regulatory takings of property rights. High quality advisory groups will be established for such tasks.
Resource Management Act. 23.1 The Purchaser agrees that the depositing of the Unit Plan by the Vendor within the timeframe stipulated in clause 22.1(f) constitutes reasonable progress for the purposes of Section 225(2)(b) of the Resource Management Xxx 0000.

If the Purchaser does not notify any objections to this Agreement within such five (5) Business Day period then this condition will be deemed to be satisfied. If the Purchaser's solicitor raises any reasonable objections to the form of this Agreement and those objections are not satisfied by the Vendor by the date five (5) Business Days from the date of this Agreement then this Agreement will be voidable at the option of either party and if voided the Deposit (if any) paid by the Purchaser will be refunded and neither party will have any further right or claim against the other.
Resource Management Act. National and ACT agree that significant change is needed to the RMA to promote investment, jobs and prosperity as well as environmental protection. ACT believes a full review and rewrite of the RMA is necessary, while National intends to focus on Phase 2 reviews and reforms to address particular weaknesses and deficiencies in the legislation. A key change that both parties will work to achieve is in the planning area; where there is a need to reduce the clutter of planning documents and increase the efficiency of the planning process. ACT and National support simplifying the planning process, and will legislate to ensure that there is only one plan (a “unitary” plan) for each district. The RMA reform agenda will be a standing item in the regular National/ACT leadership meetings, and Hon Xxxx Xxxxx will work closely with the Minister for the Environment to advance reform proposals.

  • Solid Waste Management General. The Airport is required by city ordinance to achieve a solid waste recycling rate of 75% by 2012 and 100% by 2020. Tenants are required to cooperate with the Airport to maximize the rate of solid waste recycling and source separation. Airport’s Work. The Airport will supply specially designed solid waste containers for depositing paper, bottles and cans, and general trash in the public areas of the terminal including Tenant public areas. Tenants are required to collect the solid waste generated in back offices in containers designated for paper, bottles& cans, and general trash and deposit the content of each container in the designated bins at collection areas. All Food and Beverage Concessions are required to collect food waste and compostable serviceware in separate containers and deposit the contents in designated compostable materials bins at collection areas.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in the promotion of safe working conditions, the prevention of accidents, the prevention of workplace injuries and the promotion of safe workplace practices.

  • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. Representatives of the Union shall be chosen by the Union membership or appointed by the Union. All minutes of the meetings of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be recorded in a mutually agreeable format and will be sent to the Union. The Union further agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care Unions a Joint Union Committee for the purposes of this Article. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently. The Union agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Union members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently.   • Occupational Health & Safety Committee The parties agree to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any other federal, provincial or municipal health and safety legislation and regulations. Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Employer agrees to accept as a member of its Occupational Health and Safety Committee, one representative selected or appointed by the Association from the bargaining unit. Such committee shall identify potential dangers and hazards, institute means of improving health and safety programs and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions relating to occupational health and safety. Meetings shall be held every third month or more frequently if mutually agreed. The Committee shall maintain minutes of all meetings and make the same available for review.
