Renter Responsibilities. The renter must notify Resonance Violins of any changes to their contact information. If the instrument is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, the renter will reimburse Resonance Violins for the cost of repair or replacement unless damage is covered by Damage Protection Plan (3).
Renter Responsibilities. The renter is responsible for removing all food, liquor, bottles, decorations and personal effects, and the clean- up of all kitchen/bar counters, sinks, dishes, coffee urns, garbage and wiping of all tables. All Garbage bags must be placed in the bin outside the back door. Any spills (liquor, food etc.) must be cleaned up and all tables must be washed. No equipment, bowls, etc. may be removed from the kitchen. The renter will be responsible for policing inside the Hall during the period of use. The renter is responsible for setting up their own tables and chairs. These must be washed and returned to the original positions when the function is over (around the walls). In the event the Function is to serve liquor, it is the responsibility of the Renter, at its sole cost and expense, to obtain the appropriate Liquor License. The renter shall ensure that the “No Smoking” regulations are followed. The Renter will, at all times, indemnify and save harmless the Owner, and its directors, officers and agents, from and against all action, claims, demands, suits, proceedings, damages, costs (including without restricting the generality of the foregoing, legal costs on a solicitor/client basis), and any further associated expenses that have been brought, made or incurred by or against the Owners, and its director, officers and agents, by reason of or arising out of, or in any way related to the Facility by the Renter, its agents employees, invitees or contractions except where the action, claim, demand, cost or expense was caused by intentional acts or gross negligence of the owner. DECORATIONS Decorations can be hung from the hooks provided. No decorations are to be hung from the ceiling or light fixtures. No confetti or sparkle glitter will be allowed in the Hall. This rental agreement does not provide use or access to the Seniors Room, Elk’s Room or the basement. The Canwood Elks reserve the right to withhold the use of the Hall even though the Hall may not be in use. The Canwood Hall Committee reserve the right to review the rate charged for extraordinary events or functions. DISREGARD OF ANY OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR GUIDELINES SET OUT HERE IN, OR ANY DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO THE HALL DURING YOUR EVENT, WILL RESULT IN THE TOTAL FORFEITURE OF THE DAMAGE DEPOSIT. Renter Responsibilities. You agree all rents may be deducted from your share account as indicated in the TIS Disclosure Supplement. All rents of boxes are payable for a full one-year term in advance. You acknowledge receipt of two keys and agree to notify us immediately if a key is lost and to return any remaining key at that time. You also agree to pay immediately upon our request any charge we impose for replacing a lost key, replacing a lock, or for opening a box for which the key(s) have been lost; If you fail to surrender both your keys and possession of the box at the end of the year, we will not consider a box vacated until all keys are returned or we have received your writt en notice. You will not leave the box unlocked at any time. You will not deliver the keys to the box or divulge any password or number associated with it to anyone who is not legally authorized to access it. It is your responsibility to notify us promptly of any changes in your name or address, or in the name or address of any deputy you have appointed. If you fail to give up possession of the box, remove its contents and return the keys to us upon termination of this Agreement by either of us, we may send a written notice to you of our intent to forcibly open the box in the presence of an officer of the Credit Union and one other witness. If you fail to give up possession of the box and surrender all keys within fifteen (15) days after we send such a notice, we may then proceed according to our stated intent and remove the contents of the box and retain the contents as bailee, subject to the payment of all rent that is then unpaid. You agree to pay us any charge for the use of the box after the ending of the term and all expenses, costs and attorney’s fees we incur, including costs of opening the box and of changing the lock and keys and of safe keeping of the contents after their removal from the box, immediately upon our demand. Each of you agrees to promptly notify the Credit Union in writing of the death of any person who has access to the box as required under the laws of this state. Your legal representative, including any deputy you appoint, is also required to give such notice.
