Project Designer. Designer shall name a specific individual to act as Project Designer, subject to the approval of City. Designer hereby designates [INSERT NAME OF INDIVIDUAL DESIGNER] (License No. [INSERT NUMBER]) to act as the Project Designer for the Project. The Project Designer shall: (1) maintain oversight of the Services; (2) have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Designer for all purposes under this Agreement;

References in the Contract Documents to the Project Designer, Architect, Design Engineer or Engineer, all generally mean the Project Designer.

The Project Designer shall: (1) maintain oversight of the Services; (2) have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Designer for all purposes under this Agreement; (3) supervise and direct the Services using his or her best skill and attention; (4) be responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures used for the Services; (5) adequately coordinate all portions of the Services; and (6) act as principal contact with City and all contractors, consultants, engineers and inspectors on the Project. Any change in the Project Designer shall be subject to the City’s prior written approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The new Project Designer shall be of at least equal competence as the prior Project Designer. In the event that City and Designer cannot agree as to the substitution of a new Project Designer, City shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement for cause.
Project Designer. Xx. Xxxxxxxxx’x project experience includes nearly all aspects of the municipal engineering field. As the designated City Engineer for various municipalities over the term of his career, Xx. Xxxxxxxxx has been very involved in municipal policy and standards as related to the construction of public works including sanitary sewer, storm sewer and drainage, water systems, and streets. His experience includes feasibility planning, cost estimating, project management, design, construction staking, and construction administration.

Related to Project Designer

  • Project Deliverables The Contractor shall provide each of the following deliverables in writing to the City for review and approval to achieve the project objectives.

  • Pavement Design If applicable, the Engineer shall incorporate the pavement design developed by the State for this project. If the pavement design is not available, the State may request the Engineer to perform pavement design and submit to State for review and approval.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • Project Description In two or three brief sentences, provide a concise description of your exhibition. Include the subject matter, type of objects to be included (paintings, sculpture, manuscripts, etc.), those responsible for organizing the exhibition, and catalogue author(s).
