INSURANCE OF THE WORKS. Alternative 1 Before the Contractor commences work, the Contractor shall take out an insurance policy covering all the things referred to in Clause 16.1 against loss or damage resulting from any cause whatsoever until the Contractor ceases to be responsible for their care. Without limiting the generality of the obligation to insure, the policy shall cover the Contractor’s liabilities under Clause 16.2 and things in storage off Site and in transit to the Site.
