Advancement Increases. The appointment, promotion, or assignment to a higher level (advancement) of a person who holds a permanent CUNY appointment, shall be to the minimum basic salary of the new title or level. However, an employee shall be entitled to the applicable advancement increase specified in Section 9(b) of this Article, if, when the advancement increase is added to the salary he or she was receiving or could have received in his or her prior title or level, the result is a salary higher than the minimum basic salary and all of the following additional conditions are met:

  • Merit Increases (a) Subject to documented assessment and performance review undertaken pursuant to the Performance Management System, an employee on anniversary date may be granted an increase of up to five pay increments in the pay scale, not to exceed the control point maximum.

  • Rent Increases The Rent payable shall not be increased or otherwise modified during the Term of this Lease. Any increase in Rent shall only take effect after the expiration of the Term provided in this Lease. Any increase in Rent to take effect upon renewal or extension of the Term of this Lease must be preceded by a - day notice of the same from the Landlord to the Tenant.

  • RENT INCREASE 6.1 The Landlord is entitled to increase the Rent payable under this tenancy, either during the Tenancy Term or any subsequent renewal or periodic term, on each anniversary of the start date of this tenancy (“The Rent Increase Date”).   • Career Advancement A) In order to attain Professional Teacher Status, the Educator should achieve ratings of proficient or exemplary on each Performance Standard and overall. A principal considering making an employment decision that would lead to PTS for any Educator who has not been rated proficient or exemplary on each performance standard and overall on the most recent evaluation shall confer with the superintendent by May 1. The principal’s decision is subject to review and approval by the superintendent.

  • Advancement In accordance with the pre-existing requirements of the Bylaws, and notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, the Corporation shall advance, to the extent not prohibited by applicable law, the Expenses reasonably incurred by Indemnitee in connection with any Proceeding, and such advancement shall be made within thirty (30) days after the receipt by the Corporation of a statement or statements requesting such advances from time to time, whether prior to or after final disposition of any Proceeding. Advances shall be unsecured and interest free. Advances shall be made without regard to Indemnitee’s ability to repay the Expenses and without regard to Indemnitee’s ultimate entitlement to indemnification under the other provisions of this Agreement. Advances shall include any and all Expenses reasonably incurred pursuing an action to enforce this right of advancement, including Expenses incurred preparing and forwarding statements to the Corporation to support the advances claimed. Indemnitee shall qualify for advances upon the execution and delivery to the Corporation of this Agreement, which shall constitute an undertaking providing that Indemnitee undertakes to repay the amounts advanced to the extent that it is ultimately determined that Indemnitee is not entitled to be indemnified by the Corporation. This Section 8 shall not apply to any claim made by Indemnitee for which indemnity is excluded pursuant to Section 7 hereof.

  • Longevity Increment All unit members who have completed the required years of District service, as defined below, shall be eligible to receive a longevity increment.

  • Step Increases (a) The following is the method used to determine service credit, since the last date of hire, for purposes of positioning on the salary range:

  • Longevity Increments 11.6.1 Each regular classified employee shall receive a two-range increase (5%) upon completion of five (5) years of satisfactory and continuous service. This increase will become effective at the beginning of the sixth year.

  • Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment. Once placed in a cluster within a step, faculty do not move from cluster to cluster except as described in B.3.B below.
