Weather shield definition

Weather shield means a device which is attached to a floating roof to protect the fabric of a liquid-mounted or vapor-mounted primary seal from weather and debris, thereby generally providing a longer primary seal life. The device is usually of leaf-type construction and has numerous radial joints to allow for roof movement or irregularities in the tank wall.
