VHCC Work definition

VHCC Work means criminal defence work conducted for clients on VHCCs according to the terms of this Contract;
VHCC Work means work reasonably and actually undertaken from the date of a determination that an individual qualified for Criminal Legal Aid and, where it is undertaken following the Stage 1 Start Date, it has been agreed in advance with the VHCC Case Manager.

Examples of VHCC Work in a sentence

  • Unless otherwise stated, the Standard Terms apply to the performance of VHCC Work.

  • You must also refer to any Contract Guide in respect of VHCC Work.

  • Your Claim must cover all VHCC Work undertaken during that Stage and must include all receipts for travel and subsistence expenses incurred during that Stage.

  • We will pay you direct for all VHCC Work carried out by you and any Substitute Advocate.

  • You must perform VHCC Work in accordance with this Contract, Case Plan and Task List.

  • You must ensure that all those involved in the Case are aware of what VHCC Work is required, by whom and by when, and that they know where the latest version of the Task List is recorded.

  • You must provide a summary of the VHCC Work undertaken in the previous Stage with the Task List.

  • We will not agree any VHCC Work for the Stages following Stage 1 until both you and your instructing VHCC Provider have submitted a Task List.

  • If you stop providing VHCC Work through termination of this Contract at any Stage, for any reason, we will agree an exit management strategy with you for the Case.

  • You must perform VHCC Work in accordance with this Contract, Case Plan and Task List(s).

Related to VHCC Work

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.

  • a work means the outcome of building or civil engineering works taken as a whole which is sufficient in itself to fulfil an economic or technical function;

  • Public work means public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.26) and which is subject to the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). Public work shall not include the provision of goods or products.

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Project Work means the work required to complete the Project.

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • tidal work means so much of any work authorised by this Order as is on, under or over tidal waters or tidal lands below the level of high water;

  • job work means any treatment or process undertaken by a person on goods belonging to another registered person and the expression “job worker” shall be construed accordingly;

  • Construction Contractor means a person who undertakes to or offers to undertake to, or purports to have the capacity to undertake to, or submits a bid to, or does himself or by or through others, construct, alter, repair, add to, subtract from, improve, move, wreck, or demolish any building, highway, road, railroad, excavation, or other structure, project, development, or improvement to real property, or to do any part thereof. "Construction contractor" includes subcontractors, specialty contractors, prime contractors, and any person receiving consideration for the general supervision and/or coordination of such a construction project except for remediation contracting. This definition shall govern without regard to whether or not the construction contractor is acting in fulfillment of a contract.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.

  • artistic work means, irrespective of artistic quality, any of the following, or works similar thereto—

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • Home improvement contractor or "contractor" means a person who sells goods and services, or agrees to furnish or render services, to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement installment contract, or sells goods and services to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement charge agreement, but not in connection with construction of new homes.

  • Digital audio-visual work means a series of related images which, when shown in succession, imparts an impression of motion, together with accompanying sounds, if any.

  • The Work means each and every activity required for the successful performance of the services described in Section II, the Terms of Reference.

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Project Implementation Manual or “PIM” means the manual setting out the measures required for the implementation of the Project, as the same may be amended from time to time, subject to prior approval of the Association;

  • Public work contract means a contract for constructing, altering, or repairing a public building or carrying out or completing any pub- lic work. Gov’t Code 2253.001(4)

  • Construction Work means any work in connection with⎯

  • Hot Work means work involving electric or gas welding, cutting, brazing, or similar flame or spark-producing operations.

  • demolition work means a method to dismantle, wreck, break, pull down or knock down of a structure or part thereof by way of manual labour, machinery, or the use of explosives;

  • Improvement Plan means the plan required by the Authority from the Supplier which shall detail how the Supplier will improve the provision of the Goods and/or Services pursuant to Clause 29.1.1 (Authority Remedies);
